I was really impressed how the worksite was cleaned up every day before leaving for the night. They were very careful to control dust to contain it to the immediate area. I would definitely have them do additional work for me.

I would never recommend this company - go somewhere else! I hired them to install a septic system…read morefor a new construction home. They designed and installed a system which I've had nothing but trouble with over the last 14 years. Each time I've informed them of an issue, it is difficult to get them to come look at it. They talk as though there is nothing wrong with it even though the alarm is going off continuously. When they've finally come out, they've discovered float switches have gone bad causing an actual problem. This last spring and summer (2019), we initially got quite a bit of rain and my septic alarm was going off constantly - I was told it was just because of the rain. Mid-July the rest of my yard was dry, but my lateral field was like walking on a sponge - I couldn't mow in that area at all (all summer) had to use a weed eater for the entire area. I contacted them again and once again they acted like they didn't want to have anything to do with it. When they finally showed up, they said they think it is ground water getting into the system, and that they didn't dig the curtain (interceptor) drain deep enough when they originally designed it. They said they'd give me a bid on digging it deeper - which should fix the problem. I waited over a month before contacting them again since I still had not received a bid, and my next correspondence was that they would get me a bid within the week. I then was contacted saying they wanted me to pay $500 for them to dig a "test pit" to make sure that the problem was in fact ground water. I questioned the pricing because I didn't want to just pay $500 for them to troubleshoot and then be charged thousands for repair and have the trouble shooting be completely separate when the two could be combined at a reduced cost (dig part of the deeper interceptor drain and use it as part of the fix once verified that ground water was in fact the source of the problem). The response I received from Scott Gann is posted below. They designed and installed the system but they won't stand behind their work. I'd never use them and recommend you do the same.

We had a good experience with Gutter Cover; professional, friendly people, and more importantly,…read morethey got the job done at a fair price. Noticed when we bought our home a few years back that there were new gutters and downspouts, except for a key area around our side porch. One group told us "oh, you can't have gutters there based on blah blah blah." I was discouraged and went another rainy season without them, only to have water slapping off the sides and messing with the foundation around it. This group came out, sized it up quickly, explained how they would go about putting gutters on, and that it wouldn't be difficult. I think the group who said I couldn't have gutters on this part was speaking in code for: this is a small job and we don't want to do it. Fortunately, the Gutter Cover crew did. They were really booked out, so we put this on the calendar and waited a month or so. This was one area for improvement. After I signed on to have the work done, there was zero communication, no emails, follow ups, calendar reminders, nothing. I even forgot about it, so I gave them a call to check in and then I was put on the calendar for the following day. Not a big deal, but a confirmation email would've been nice. The work was done quickly, and while it's dusty and dry with no rain in sight, I'm sure they'll hold up well. One thing I want to add to close this out. It isn't the biggest job, and the name of the biz is Gutter Cover, so naturally they would want to sell me on those. The guy I visited with picked up quickly that it wasn't of interest to me at this time, and wasn't pushy or rude. I really appreciated that and it gave me confidence to book them.
