I've never worked with someone more organized and prepared! She has a huge binder with all of the info and plans, etc, for our kitchen and living room. I only wish our contractor and architect were as responsible, timely and had the same sense of follow-through! Susie brings a fresh take on design - I don't think anything she does is cookie-cutter, and that's what we wanted. We live in Laurel Canyon, and value originality and not looking like our house belongs in a bland catalog. Susie's design involves little pops of originality, along with very tasteful choices in the style of our house. I wish I could post photos of the finished product but we are still waiting for the contractor to fix some problems with the exterior sheathing currently, before we can install the new kitchen. I also should add, Susie worked with us intently on what would be functional for our family, as well as look great. I never felt like she was sacrificing function in order to look cool. I highly recommend Susie. She really kept us on track and helped us from feeling overwhelmed by all the choices that needed to be made in the design process. I look forward to posting the final reveal photos!

My family and I live in an open-concept house and have been struggling with how to make it feel functional and "homey".  The main obstacles were defining living/dining zones, adding storage, and making our short ceilings feel...not so short.  As this was our first experience using a designer, we opted for a consultation (where Susie gives direction/recommendations but we execute). She came to our house for 1.5 hours and brainstormed, shared product recommendations, and even helped us rearrange our existing furniture to a layout that made more sense.  This consultation alone broke some of our mental blocks and enabled us to create a new space using most of what we already own. I will definitely use Susie's other services too as we continue to grow in our house. Susie was easy to talk to, collaborative, and offered creative solutions. I also really appreciate her thoughtfulness when recommending products (i.e. offering ideas that make sense for our life-stage / budget).

Neela was perfect. She understood exactly what I wanted, and was so on board with me. She helped me realize the exact level of historic vs modern that made my dream kitchen a reality. She was also fantastic in guiding me to the use of color in the house without making it too much, which I so appreciated. Overall, I just really appreciated having her expert eye and advice in general in making large and small decisions, she always made me feel confident. She was a great go between for my contractors as well, always guiding them to the best way to achieve something. I honestly could not have done this remodel without her, and I am beyond pleased with the end result she helped me create. We interviewed and reviewed designs from other stagers but it wasn't until my husband spoke with Gabrielle that we knew she was the right person to go with. She asked great questions such as who we were trying to appeal to and really listened to our needs. At the first consultation meeting, Gabrielle came and studied each space and tried to maximize the potential of each room rather than just filling the room with whatever furniture she had. Gabrielle was also extremely quick! From the moment we first called until the final piece of furniture was placed took only 3 days. We were on a major time crunch so her quick work on getting everything together saved us. We would not hesitate to recommend or use Gabrielle again in the future. I found Gabrielle's number and a couple other stage-rs through Yelp and started to call right away. I was under time pressure to sell quick. She was the only one who listened and realized that I needed to meet with her very soon, so she managed to come to W-Covina in a couple of hours that same day. Which was very valuable to me. We walked the home together and discussed options of decorations and type of rooms to create. She gave me a lot of GREAT ideas about certain parts of the home and things to do to prepare the home for staging. This home also needed a fresh coat of paint which she recommended some very nice Color Palates that we actually used. The day of staging she showed up on time with her professional, friendly and kind crew Plus lots of beautiful furniture for the whole house and also some cute stuff for the back yard. She worked very fluently with my schedule and the fact that I lived far from the property and made it very convenient for me. To make a long story short we were in Escrow in 48 hours after she staged this home. On the day of Pick-Up, She showed up with her crew as scheduled. They worked fast and they left our property spotless. Thank you Gabrielle. Her Price was also reasonable. :)
