Great place to get a load of laundry done! They have an ATM machine, a coin machine and vending machines for laundry necessities. There is an attendant on-site and many washers and dryers available for use. It's been costing $3.75 15 (quarters) per wash for a small/medium load and it typically takes about 15-20 minutes. The large dryers against the wall cost $4 for 15 minutes. It has taken my load of laundry two dryer cycles to dry completely. There is a change machine, an ATM, and vending machines where you can purchase laundry detergent, a laundry bag, dryer sheets and softener! They sell travel packs of laundry supplies enough for just one load so you're not lugging laundry supplies while on travel! Very convenient. The facility is well kept and the machines are always running so there is never a stagnant smell or mildew. I've come here twice now and it's been so convenient for us since our hotel does not have a laundry room available. This place is most especially useful when you have a lot of laundry to catch up on with the multiple machines available, you can run multiple loads of laundry at once. Do not come here! Took an uber from my hotel for wash & fold services. When I walked up to the only worker in the building & nicely said "excuse me" he screamed "NO" loudly in my face. Well.... In spite of other reviews we decided to give this place a chance. My husband took our laundry down there about 11am and the older lady behind the counter was pretty rude to him all in all. When he asked if he could pickup around the same time tomorrow she said "well let me just stop everything else I'm doing!" He almost opted to go somewhere else but she said no that's fine. Honestly we didn't know what to expect at pickup but a younger woman greeted him politely and took his payment and gave him our clothes. The clothes were clean and extremely neatly folded, almost as if done by a machine. They even put all one size together and the other size separate. Overall, it was a mostly positive experience but the initial gruffness from the lady taking it in was very disconcerting. read more

I travel the U.S 7 months a year and use same day laundry spots on the regular. 10 out of 10 stars for this spot!! $25 for 12 lbs of laundry, all my button downs came back on hangers in plastic, everything was color coded and my boxers were folded immaculately!!! Great service! Staying in the Hotel Bennett during the front end of Tropical Storm Debby, and College Laundry came to pick up a bag of laundry for fluff and fold service. They just dropped it back off at the hotel, about 3-4 later. Saved me from the hotel (expensive) dry cleaning service and a walk or Uber in the heavy rain. Thank you College Laundry!!! read more

I didn't try to laundry service but nice place to stop in and take care of some laundry yourself if traveling on a carry on as I was. Detergent and fabric softener sheets sold for $1. The smaller washer was $2.50 to operate and fit a weeks worth of clothes comfortably. The larger machine was $4.50. Dryer runs $0.25 per 5 minutes and 20 minutes got my clothes dry. They have a tea/boba shop attached with a nice seating area while you wait for your loads to finish. I had a mango green tea that was quite refreshing. As far as the drop of wash and fold service, I've heard good things but wasn't able to try it out because of a time crunch. read more

This review is purely for the laundry aspect of the company, not affiliated with the Persimmons restaurant inside: I went in a crunch because my washer broke right before my trip to California. I didn't know what to do. I have fairly nice clothes that I take pride and joy in, and was so worried they would get ruined. I hauled my booty over to The College Laundry with no idea of how much it would be, if my clothes would shrink, or what would happen. I was NOT disappointed. It was a super quick, efficient, and easy process. My clothes were folded beautifully and folded to absolute perfection. If you love the smell of fried food and your clothes smelling like it than this is the laundromat for you. I dropped off a few loads for wash and fold to pick up the next day and now really wish I hadn't. I will be rewashing everything as the stench is horrific. I arrived at 6pm assuming I had plenty of time before closing. The manager advised me he closed in 1 hour. I had several loads to wash and dry, and I was urgently in need of clean laundry. I thought, oh well, I'll just wash them here and dry them at home. As the wash cycles were finishing up, the guy told me I could stay and dry the loads even past closing time. Great people! Not a service that I normally use, but I hosted an event and used a bunch of linens on the tables that all needed to be cleaned (about 20+ large tablecloths). I knew laundering them at home would take forever and dry cleaning them isn't worth the cost. I chose College Laundry because Persimmon is there so I planned to get a sandwich while I waited. I see other reviews where others are complaining about the service, but I didn't have any interaction with anyone... beginners luck I guess. I came in and immediately starting filling up the commercial size machines, got a bunch of quarters, and got everything started. The machines were fast and did a great job. I happened to be there at a not-so-busy time and was able to quickly transfer to dryers without any wait. For about $20 in quarters and 3 hours of time, my friend and I were able to wash, dry, fold, and bag 20+ linens. If I were to take them to the dry cleaners I couldn't have even done two for that price. read more

This place has plummeted downhill for the past 2 years. If you have a car, go to another place. As of right now, 8 of the 32 dryers work. Only 8. I feel like every week there is one more broken machine. The whole place is dusty and dirty and has been since I moved here. If some one opened another laundromat downtown, they would make a killing. I've been in the area visiting my sick mom at the hospital. I've had mine and my moms laundry done twice here. It's been great - easy pickup and drop off and they've always been available and accommodating (I contacted some other laundries in the area, and they've been unable to accept washing because of the holidays). This is a first rate laundry service with such a personal touch. I had never used a laundry service but did so here because I had a ton of linens to do quickly and they had a great turn around time. With the student discount I honestly don't know why the many students in town are wasting their study time to do laundry. Nice people, good location, but terrible parking and they eat Kimshi in the shop and it permeates everything and makes your clothes smell. I told the lady very nicely that my clothes smell bad after I wash them there. She said, "Maybe you no come here anymore." So I have not. read more

Drop off service is awesome. $1 a pound for students. $1.35 for everyone else. The turn around time is just a few hours for impeccably clean and folded clothing. My whites are brilliantly white. The people who work there are really sweet and often will give a gift on pickup, such as a fresh bottle of water or a flower. They also work with Quick Foxes to deliver for around $5. Who needs a washer and dryer? Who has time for laundry? This service is well worth it. read more

Terrible! We had planned to do some laundry today and stopped by to ask how long the store would be open. The woman that met us could hardly speak English but after a while she manage to tell us that it closed at 10pm, even though it said 9pm online. We came back a little after 7pm to do our laundry but we were met by the same lady who said we couldn't wash because the store close at 8pm. I told her that she had misinformed us earlier but she just looked at us like it was our fault. We went somewhere else and we are never coming back. read more

Probably like most people, we discovered this laundry mat because of the hidden gem inside of it called Persimmon (killer grilled cheese sandwiches btw). Not sure what people are looking for from a laundry mat. We've used this place twice. Dropped off a large bag of clothes both times and paid around $11. Pick up was a few hours later. This place is just your average laundromat. It does have quite a few machines out of order, but it's never been so crowded I couldn't find a washer/dryer. They don't appreciate customers and they are certainly NOT professional. They don't follow their posted hours of operation. I did my laundry here once on a whim because it's quicker than the laundry at my apartment. Overall, not bad for a laundromat. Only complaints about the laundry aspect was limited working equipment and kinda dingy environment. However, the guy who owns the place is a real jerk. Went back at a later date to get change for laundry and he starts screaming at me in broken English to not use the change machine that says on it "I work fine." He proceeds to make me put the change back into the change machine and give it to him. The change was already mixed into some I already had in my change purse and he refused to count it back out and give me my money back. DO NOT USE THE CHANGE MACHINE! He will steal from you. read more
