If I could give 0 stars I would. **CLICK ON THE POSITIVE REVIEWS AND YOU'LL SEE THEY ARE FAKE PAGES ** From the unprofessional leasing agent and petty management, to the dishonesty about the specials and the poor craftsmanship of the units. It's a hard no. The leasing agent knew the elevators were down on my move in day. He intentionally waited until I signed my lease and signed over the money order to tell me. My movers had already begun packing the truck. I had to then pay them to unpack and to reschedule my move! Almost 2 weeks passed before I was offered a temporary unit to move into until the elevator was fixed. I stayed in said unit for a week before I was transferred to a unit in the second building on the top floor. The elevator in this building goes out every few days so I have to walk up to the top floor every time it happens. The gates are open so random people come in and out of the complex to park in our lot. The doors to our building DO NOT LOCK. Pedestrians can walk in and out of our building freely. The parking lot is pitch black with no lights. The call box is supposed to have facial recognition and a PIN code but it hasn't worked since I moved in.
The amenities still aren't open. We cannot access the pool, gym, or clubhouse yet we're being charged a $50 fee on top of the rent for it. The rent special was sold as a 6 week credit that could be prorated throughout the lease term; THAT IS A LIE. You can only use it for your first 2 months bc it is taken out automatically.
When mentioned to management, of course it's pacified. My washer/dryer didn't work, sink/tub were unfinished, amongst other things.
The valet trash neglects our building. I've been here almost 2 months and they've gotten my trash twice. I made leasing staff aware of this and was told I am not the only person to complain about this.
My neighbor below me complained about me using a blender at 7:30am due to the walls being thin. My washing machine was also flooding her apartment due to the poor rush job construction has done (every tenant I've spoken to has complained about the quality of their unit and how subpar this place is but I am the most vocal about it with management so I'm a target). Needless to say this neighbor was already not the nicest person to me. She banged on my door and yelled at me about my blender at 7:30am. She asked me to open the door so we can "talk" but I didn't feel comfortable after her aggressive introduction so I declined. I reported her to management via email and she clearly wasn't reprimanded for it since she felt comfortable enough to threaten me again.
She had a domestic dispute (one of many) that was very loud and disrupted my work from home job. When I bang on the floor to inform her of the noise (because knocking on her door isn't safe) she then proceeded to bang on the ceiling, come onto the balcony; telling me to come outside, yelling and cursing at me. Not only did she threaten to come to my unit AGAIN, she informed me that she knew what I drove and to be careful. Words were exchanged and I immediately called management.
I was very frustrated when reporting her to management however, management gives me a lease violation for "slamming the door" because she took my anger personally instead of being professional and understanding that I was flustered with the events that had just occurred with my neighbor. Nothing I said was directed towards management specifically except for me telling her I wanted to break my lease because I've had enough.
From day one the collective has been a headache. Problem after problem. Condescending staff that take your complaints personally even though management/construction are the cause of the issues. I kill daddy long leg spiders in my unit every single day! To pay $1850 a month for a one bedroom this close to the West side of Atlanta is insane. PLEASE DO YOURSELVES A FAVOR and RUN. There are far better places to move for this price point. read more
