Really good pour over coffee and open early! Had a little challenge finding it for the first time because it's set back in a fairly non-descript strip mall, but the couches were comfy and the service friendly! Thank you!

Been here a few times and tried four different drinks and so far they have all been wonderful. The staff is really nice and willing to offer help if you don't quite know what you want. They are an entity of draw ( disaster relief at work) so it's nice to have a local coffee joint with a purpose. I will become a regular here quickly for sure.

I've now eaten at Sisters Cafe twice, and both visits far exceeded my expectations. From the moment…read moreyou walk in, it's clear this isn't just another café--it's a place that genuinely cares about quality, freshness, and community. The portions are incredibly generous, the prices are very reasonable, and the quality of the ingredients truly stands out. I love that much of their produce comes directly from Eastern Market, so you know everything is fresh. They also proudly display their breads, which come from Crust in Fenton. You can even purchase a loaf to take home, which I thought was such a wonderful touch. It's refreshing to see a locally owned, women-owned business supporting other local businesses. The homemade soups are outstanding. The chicken noodle soup was so delicious that I actually ordered a second serving--which is something I never do. The Italian sandwich is, without question, the best I've ever had. I especially appreciate that you can order it either grilled or cold, depending on your preference. The service is warm, welcoming, and genuinely accommodating. They happily work with reasonable dietary requests, which I always appreciate. The restaurant itself is spotless. I've dined in countless restaurants over the years, and I always notice cleanliness. I honestly couldn't find a speck of dust anywhere. One of the things that impressed me most was seeing the owners actively working alongside their staff. They're present, engaged, and willing to jump in wherever needed. My favorite saying is, "Teamwork makes the dream work," and Sisters Cafe is a perfect example of that philosophy in action. If you have room after your meal, don't skip the bakery case. The display of fresh baked goods is enough to make your mouth water. Next time, I'm definitely planning to save room because that Birthday Cake Muffin has my name written all over it. Everyone at Sisters Cafe seems genuinely happy to be there--whether they're working or enjoying a meal. The restaurant stays busy, and after eating there twice, it's easy to understand why. They've clearly discovered the secret ingredient to success: exceptional food, outstanding service, genuine hospitality, and a true commitment to supporting their local community. I can't wait to go back!

Very clean and inviting. Service was friendly, but not terribly attentive...like no one ever check…read moreon me after my my food was served. Food was good...they managed to properly cremate my eggs and bacon, but the hash browns were very bland and lackluster and everything could have been hotter.

Took the Mr. out for a birthday brunch, and L.A. Cafe totally delivered. He's a big breakfast guy,…read moreand finding a place that serves a solid morning spread and takes food allergies seriously? Rare gem. The vibe inside was bustling but warm -- like the kind of place where everyone's a regular. We came in as a large group (didn't call ahead ), and they still made room for us quickly. The service was incredibly kind and attentive from the moment we sat down. I had the hash brown bowl with corned beef, green peppers, broccoli, and a side of gluten-free toast -- plus lemonade. Portions were generous, food came out hot, and I felt like everything was made with care (though a touch more seasoning wouldn't have hurt). My son and I already have our eyes on the French toast and omelet for next time. My youngest ordered it this time, and yes... I had to sneak a bite. Oh, and the decor? Full of vintage memorabilia that sparked memories from my own childhood. Such a fun touch! We left full, happy, and talking about our next visit. If you're anywhere nearby, go now!

What a unique "experience"/restaurant. When my friend suggested meeting at this place, I couldn't…read moreunderstand why we were driving 25 minutes to go here. She knew it because it has an extensive vegan menu on top of the regular one. Once I entered, it all made sense. It's pretty different. I would describe it as part restaurant and part, eclectic, retro, sassy gift/collectibles store. There is clutter, decor, and stuff to buy everywhere you look. Most of it has funny expressions, for example, socks/totes/pillows with quotes. And there's a lot of retro like toys/"stuff" for example mini Rubik's cubes, flower sunglasses, balloon dog keychains, and so much more. You kinda have to see it to totally get the gist, so I'll include a few pictures. As far as the food, we all enjoyed ours. I ordered the lemon blueberry pancakes, which were filled with tons of blueberries and had a nice light lemon taste. They were quite fluffy and enjoyable. I don't know what all of my friends ordered, but they were happy too. I would definitely consider coming back. It wouldn't be a regular spot, but it's entertaining enough that I might stop in with someone who's never been.
