It's a huge reason I don't get beverages to-go often because I don't want to be responsible for more styrofoam in landfills. A solid meh. For what we paid, it's not a good value. I know they are sliders, but the images from…read morethe business made the sliders seem bigger than what we received. Taste was fine, but wouldn't buy it again. Onion rings tasted bland, and not freshly fried. Didn't care for the breading but that's just my preference. The best part was their shakes honestly. Same family, new location in Clarkston!…read more We were long time customers of Beirut Palace in Royal Oak, and when they closed we were lost without their fantastic food. For the past 10 years or so we have tried all of the others in Rochester, Royal Oak and Troy and while they have things to like, none compared to Beirut Palace. My daughter happened to see their listing in Clarkston and called to ask if there was a connection. Yes - this is run by the kids of the original Royal Oak family, and some of the same people who worked there. The son and chef remembered us, and we remembered them. On to the food. They promised "Dad's recipes" and they were not lying. The Ghallaba, Arayes, green beans, fattoush, garlic sauce and hummus were just as we remembered. My wife has become a vegan, and had the "Super Falafel" sandwich which was gigantic, and she pronounced the best she had ever had. We were all overjoyed to discover this favorite place again. My daughter is 26, she was probably 3 or 4 the first time we had this food. It's the flavors of her childhood. Service was amazing and we enjoyed everything about it. It's a bit of a drive from us, but completely worth it. 10 stars!

Then I noticed that the tomatoes had a mealy texture and tasted well past their prime. If I had to guess, I'd say they were cut yesterday, stored in the fridge, and then left on the counter for good measure. I could be wrong, but that's certainly how they tasted. We asked for extra pickles, but I couldn't taste any. I wound up unwrapping the sandwich and eating only the chicken and the few pickles that were hiding out in the second half.

The chicken wrap was a perfect blend of spice and sauce, and large in quantity. The smoothie that comes with the combo is and can be a meal within itself, but the combination of a light spicy savory dish with my cool, sweet berry smoothie was just right! The way the staff spoke to me was also filled with micro aggressions, which is not appreciated. I guess you need to be white to be treated nicely by staff, would not recommend coming to this location if you are black. Staff was overall very rude and I should not be able to hear their private conversations from where I'm standing, just rude and loud. And I found hair in my chipotle chicken club as well, just an overall waste of $17 and I will not be back. Plus it's always a long wait time for a flatbread and a smoothie, just overall unacceptable. Beyond juicery and eatery is better and more worth the money anyways.
