The parlor. Cozy. Bistro seats and couch.

How do you pronouce CFE? Coffee? Cafe? Cee ef ee? It was not explained. Pictures tell more about the journey. They said they opened since November. Ambiance. Converted large home along main road is now a beautiful coffee cafe. Fresh plants! Thank you! Loo was gorgeous. Service. Excellent, accommodating, friendly. Comestibles and potables. No dark roast, but have a menu of your usual suspects. EXCELLENT baked goods. No half-and-half. *heavy pouty sigh* Shall we come back? We may.

In a Nutshell

This was my first time visiting, and I was really impressed! The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, making me feel welcome right away. They clearly know their coffee inside and out, and it shows. I also really love the decor and the couch we grabbed was a super comfy leather couch. For many it might not be a big deal but I have a bad back and it allowed me to actually sit and enjoy my coffee. They're clearly thinking about the comfort of their customers. The menu has some really unique and creative coffee options, and the drink I tried was absolutely delicious and just so happens to be the cafe's signature drink (The CFE). We also ordered the Creme Brulee and In a Nutshell. I'm not into sweet drinks so I personally didn't care for the Creme Brulee, but my husband liked it. I can't wait to come back and try more. If you're looking for a great spot with both excellent service and amazing coffee, I highly recommend checking this place out!

Employees were very friendly and there was plenty of comfortable seating both inside and outside. Iced caramel latte and mocha mint (special request on the mint) latte were both excellent.

Twix latte and strawberry bundt cake.

The drinks and food are always great and the service is amazing as well. The guys behind the counter always are polite and even brought out drinks and food to our table. I got the Twix latte and strawberry bundt cake. Both were great. This place I believe is an old funeral home converted to a coffee shop, the inside is very warm and a great place to relax.

Cozy Chai Latte

You know how we all have our 'Mount Rushmore' list of coffee concoctions? Their Cozy Chai Latte is now on my list! I had it served hot with oatmilk and it was perfection!! The only bummer is that the Cozy Chai Latte on their seasonal list so it won't be around long.... Please convince them to make this a permanent coffee choice. :) Their pastries are excellent as well!

Comfy seats- big windows, professional but welcoming counter service

The vibe of this place is great. The decor is warm and cozy; The service is spot on- attentive-helpful for every customer who needed a nudge to select just what they wanted. I came here to work for a few hours and learned that I was not alone - that means it's comfortable and there is no push to get people out. I'll be back and recommend you give CFE roasters a try

This shop just opened in Oxford!!! The building was a little hard to find at first. It's across the street from Steve's Automotive and before you get to the Polly Ann Trail bridge if you're in downtown Oxford. Immediately I was surprised at how cute the place is! They have a front porch with a nice sitting area as well as comfortable interior with couches and tables. This would be a great place to study or get together with friends! Staff was very friendly and personal! I had heard of a "Nutella drink," so I came in and they hooked me up. This is out of the way for most of my daily activities but I might have to come back soon!

The Good Egg - Gravy omelette.

The Good Egg

My wife and I went here for brunch on our anniversary weekend. We were fortunate to get a table…read morequickly. They were busy but not overly so at around 10 am on a Saturday morning. We were quickly offered coffee which was typical diner fare. My wife didn't care for it, but I'd certainly had worse. We heard about the specials and took both. One was a Doc Holliday skillet which was typical skillet material but also had country gravy. The other special was a Stuffed Strawberry French Toast dish. We also ordered the suggested Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. We knew we'd have some to take home to the kids. The pancakes were a little dry as was the biscuit were traded our toast for; but everything else was pretty great. The service was fast but somewhat rushed and inpersonal. They were busy, but not THAT busy. An all around 4.2 rounds down to 4.

Greeted and seated right away even tho it was a hopping lunch crowd. Super cute modern farmhouse…read morevibe. Clean. Server was super friendly and helpful. Enjoyed sitting in a booth in the window. There are cute tables for outdoor seating in good weather but they are right on street so I likely would choose to sit inside. The food was good. I ordered the gravy omelet. Good portion and potatoes were perfectly crisp. The sourdough bread is $1 more. I think next time I would try white bread. Couldn't really taste the sourdough flavor but had great crumb. The gravy was outstanding just like my mom made. A friend tried the egg sandwich. The waitress said it was a croissant but looked like a biscuit. My friend said it was tasty. The e sausage were links which was a unique twist. I do have to say it was a little chilly so I was glad I had my sweater on! But hard with Michigan back and forth weather to properly regulate the temp.
