In summer weather there is a pool and hot tub as well as a modest gym facility. The breakfast portion was also top notch. More food than you can eat and a great selection. This unique landmark home, a pre-fabricated house, was ordered from a lumberman's catalogue, each piece numbered and shipped ready for assembly. Mr. Daniel built up and ran a dairy farm on this property which he affectionately called, 'Norland'. We were up at the crack of dawn everyday to explore Glacier and every single night, she would pack us a to go breakfast and lunch to have for the next day. For example, a B&B may have a great location and nice decor, but the food is no good or the innkeepers are less than welcoming. At Moss Mountain every aspect of the B&B is right on. The location is superb. The inn is surrounded by forest with an organic vegetable garden, cute front porch and backyard sitting area. The inn has nice decor and is not overly cluttered. The innkeepers, Hunter and Debbie, are very friendly, welcoming and helpful and lastly the food was delicious. We stayed in Lani's room - which is on the second floor and is actually next to the kitchen. The room was very cute but you may hear kitchen noise as breakfast is being made, this didn't bother us, but if you are a light sleeper you may want to book one of the rooms on the third floor. Also, the inn has bear spray for rent for $5 a day - this is a bargain if you are only going to be hiking in the park a couple of days and don't want to fork out $50 to buy a can.

It has a loft with 2 double beds and a bedroom with a queen bed. The kitchen is well equipped with all the things you need and there's even a bbq to use.
