By the time I discovered this place, my favourite pair of heels was on its last legs! Dr. Shoe managed to re-balance my worn heels and breathe new life into them! He also re-soled my boots and did a fine number on capping a pair of stilettos for me. His work isn't cheap but I'm a big fan of any man who can rescue a damsel's shoes in distress! That's right lads, most modern women don't need rescuing in the traditional sense! If am being honest, this particular pair of shoes should have been retired years ago but I'm just not quite ready to give them up so off to the shoe repair man I went. The young man serving me was lovely and said it wouldn't be a problem (Thank Goodness!!) - they would be back in my possession by Friday (it was Wednesday at the time!) and it would set me back $40 big ones. Not only did I think this a was good deal but I was stoked that I would have them back in time the weekend. When I did pick up the shoes they looked great - as close to brand new as they are ever going to get! Not to mention they had given them a really good polish as well.

He is a cobbler of the 'old school', and does a great job. Just a week ago I took in my grandson's much loved Air Jordan basketball boots, since he is pretty hard on his shoes and the soles were almost worn through. The repair was completed to a high standard within a week, including applying a quality leather treatment to the uppers. The total cost was only $85, about 1/3rd of the price of buying a new pair. I would rate his service as 'excellent' and highly recommend to anyone who needs a quality shoe repair at a very reasonable cost, and will take my own expensive running shoes to him any time they need some TLC !
