They have been more than helpful at all times since then, up to and including helping when my parents died. I treated it as an old style bank and just asked for an interview for some advice. I was seen by one of the senior management who gave me a list of suitable solicitors and helped sort out all the paperwork appertaining to the accounts held by my father (he died latest). Afterwards, I was given excellent advice on how to invest any spare money I had, due to various things. This extended to helping with cashing this inwhen buying our pub. They advised us against this quite strongly, but then helped as much as possible. A superb service all round. To date, HSBC have impressed me in that they still try to treat customers like real humans (whatever they may think in private!)

The staff are helpful and always ask the obligatory questions regarding account review? or try to sell you an isa or a new mortgage or something like that which can get annoying. However I don't think that is branch specific - I get that in EVERY natwest I visit! They have excellent disabled access so its great for me with my pushchair, and parking is OK, not immediately outside but there's a free carpark behind the building so its only a short walk. All in all, its a very useful friendly place - I would say that it is annoying that its open at 9 every day, but 9.30 on a wednesday. Why Wednesday has to be different i don't know and as a customer its confusing but then again its in a village so perhaps its just an old fashioned branch!

I got a reminder of the appointment on my mobile saying should I wish to cancel or rearrange... I tried to reply on my mobile and could not! So tried phoning their 03453 numbers, failed misserably again - I needed to say unable to attend through health issues, needed to cancal! A better method than this is needed to contact directly, a simple local phone number of the branch would have been a blessing... Jonnane Price would be still awaiting me and I wasnt turning up!

Lloyds Bank in Warrington is located just outside Golden Square Shopping Centre on Horsemarket St…read morein the town centre - the size of the store is actually pretty large but one thing I found surprising was how much of that space was used, the answer was not very much. Upon entering the store there was virtually nothing there, you had to walk to the end to find the counters or the few cash machines - which made little sense as surely the room at the front should be devoted to the ATM's perhaps with a seating and technology area with counters to discuss more complex banking matters towards the end of the store - this is a similar approach used by most other Lloyds Bank stores which I'm surprised isn't in operation here - the store just isn't "open" enough and although true for their opening times, I'm not talking about that here (opening hours are pretty in line with the old-fashioned, outdated hours of banking: 9-5 Monday to Saturday although they open later on Wednesday's and close earlier on Saturday's) There was no greeter in the store either which made the fact the store wasn't too open more of a problem. A pretty poor branch of Lloyds Bank but remarkably this is still one of the better banks in Warrington town centre after a dismal branch of TSB nearby (these two banks were once one company), hence the reason for the extra star and it is a useful location for a Lloyds Bank despite its' flaws.
