This Lloyds Bank store is a fairly large, nice impressive branch of the bank, and it is one of the many really nice, large banks in general which Bolton town centre has. This Lloyds Bank is probably my joint favourite bank in Bolton alongside Natwest, and my second favourite bank in the Lloyds Bank network after the Market Street branch nearby in Manchester city centre. Deapite being in quite an old building, the store is modern inside and even smells nice with a good amount of staffed counters, sofas and machines to withdraw and pay in money. The staff here seemed friendly and slightly helpful, telling me to use another cash machine after I was unable to get a mini statement, which probably was an issue as I'm a TSB customer, who used to trade as Lloyds TSB until the split. Removing options in the first place to avoid stress and confusion would be a good idea. Improvements could include renevation to the exterior and making the most of the free-space in the bank, perhaps by adding more machines and counters etc would be a good idea, but for now I feel this bank deserves a high three-star rating. read more
