The owners have done an outstanding job of curating the shop, designing the t-shirts and generally creating a fun shopping experience. Immediately upon entering the store I laughed out loud at the "Schnitzel Happens" t-shirt. Quintessential Amana. I had the perfect person to buy it for. They sell kid's, women's, and men's clothing. Most, if not all of the styles are unisex and they print their slogans on t-shirts and hoodies. Hats, water bottles, small accessories and stickers are also for sale. There's so much neat stuff to look at. Haus Maus is very on trend, while keeping it local. Cant' wait to see what they produce each season. Very friendly customer service. The shop is set off the sidewalk a little bit and located down a longer walkway, so don't miss it!

There's all sorts of colorful rocks, fossils, and crystals, sculptures, jewelry, and treasures. Bring your kiddos, grab a treasure bag, dump it in the sluice basket, sift it in the water til the stones are clear! We tried the $10 crack-your-own geode while they were doing them out front at Maifest, which was pretty cool. You can also pick them up to crack at home, if you've got some tools. Everything is labeled with information about that kind of stone. If you're looking for crystals or funky stone jewelry, be sure to check this place out.

In all the times I've visited Amana, I've never visited Yana's. It's a cute, well merchandised shop…read morewith amazing customer service. The shop offers a nice variety and is on the moderate side as far as price. I'm 38 and there were several items I would have tried on and/or purchased if I had a reason to wear them. We browsed for awhile. There's a lot to look at. I tried on a cute floppy hat but didn't buy it at that moment. I ultimately returned to the store to buy it. I kept thinking about it, and that price was right, so I went back. The sales person working was nice enough to cut the tag off the hat for me and I wore it out of the store. Definitely stop here if you're looking for something fun and more mature. I'd say this shop is for the 30+ woman.

Once they noticed we were there, we said it was our first time, so we just read the menu and did a wine tasting with cheese for $14. The lady said okay, sit wherever. We sat in the back of the tasting room, there was no-one else in the place, she brought the wine and cheese to the table and left. No explanation, no entry into their wines, nothing. First off the glasses were thick, like used for beer tasting? no ability to see the legs on the wine. But what was I thinking? I had my doubts just given the names of the wines... Ember wine? Dandelion wine? Marquette rose? I proceeded to start with the ember - a red-ish wine... not full body, lacked depth. The rose, had an after finish of water that just ran off my tongue, a good rose has a crisp refreshing taste with balanced acidity and fruit notes... this was horrible. Next up the dandelion? I'm only to assume it's supposed to be like a chard, but honestly I left it on the table. Should it be warm like a mead? Confusing. I'm from the PNW and we are known for exceptional 90+point wines and family estates, so I know wines, and whatever I drank today, was not it. On my way out, other folks entered and were at the check in and the staff was more than willing to walk them through selections of wines for tastings. Wish I had that!

She asked us what kind of wines we liked, explained that this store specialized in grape wine, while the other one next door was fruit. She let us sample a couple of different wines and made recommendations based on the things we said we liked. She also gave a list of all their wines with descriptions to look at. I wish we would have gone here first instead of the winery next door because their was a night and day difference in experience.

Great items in abundance, something for everyone, and set in a spacious setting without feeling like you're jammed into a store. The highlight for me was meeting John and Wayne, a pair of artisans who were kind and were there displaying their own items. They had such great pride in their respective works, and were just good people to chat with!

Lots of rock specimens, including some rather unusual ones (selenite wands and skyscrapers; magnetic hematite marbles; laramar from the Caribbean); fossils (trilobites; fish fossils; fossilized pine cones; a large turtle fossil marked "Please Touch"); lots of rock chip jewelry; agate slices; and carved rock animals including some pierced soapstone animals (an openwork rabbit surrounding a solid one). Some tree of life silver wire jewelry and some magnetic hematite jewelry. If you like rocks you'll love this place.
