Took my wrist watch Bulova M/96T15 with Genuine Swarovski Crystals to have battery changed out and a couple of links removed on February 2, 2026,and we waited in store for repairs. Now comes the good part .. I didn't check out my watch before I left the store but a few hours later I was looking at it and I noticed two of my crystal stones are missing , but now it's a he said she said , so I have no proof that I had 12 Genuine Swarovski Crystals and now there are only 10 Crystals... so all I have to say to Kevin is "SHAME ON YOU" !!! Because I feel if you believed what I said you would have helped me look for those stones ! But that didn't happen !! I wanted 2 months to write this (I meant to after a week) to make sure it really worked. It's just a cheap battery watch but it sat around a few years not working. Finally took it to them to change the battery. Within a few mins., he said it was done. Paid the very cheap fee of only $10, saw that it was clicking away and said thank you and left. But that's not all he did, he set the time, the day and the date ALL CORRECTLY. It's easy to do, I get that, but would have taken me too much time to figure it out that's I wouldn't have. Took my cuckoo clock in for repairs to the musical function. I took it in in Feb and got it back in May. It worked for one month. Then I took it back in ,in July. After 5 months this Dec I Called Them about it. It wasn't fixed so I had him but it back together so I could pick it up. Said they would call in a few days when done .Never called,I called them and it was done. The cuckoo bird door was not broken when I took it in, it won't stay shut now. Totally rip off. While traveling, the wrist band on my Citizen Eco drive watch of many years, came apart. One of the link pins came out and naturally could not be found. I stopped in Lubbock and looked for a place that might be able to repair it. I called The Clock Doc to inquire if it could be repaired in a couple of days since I was traveling. John the shop owner said bring it in and he could repair it while I waited. I went to The Clock Doc immediately. John looked at the band and determined that he would have to make a new pin after trying several 'standard' pins that did not fit properly. He said the repair would be done by the afternoon. Sure enough, John called about 3:30 PM to let me know the band had been repaired and was ready to be picked up. While heading out the door, my wife hands me her watch and says, see if he can remove a link. I arrived at The Clock Doc, picked up my watch and in about three minutes he removed a link from my wife's band. I expressed my thanks for his prompt and friendly service and stated I would settle up at the front desk. John replied with a smile 'don't worry about it'. I insisted he should be paid as that is his lively hood but he repeated 'don't worry about it'. Bottom line, John is clearly old school in customer service and I strongly recommend The Clock Doc for any watch or Clock repair you may need. Charged $1000 to work on 2 clocks. The grandfather clock was almost $900, nevermind a whole new works would have been less than that also nevermind the chimes aren't right and the thing doesn't even run correctly and they won't come make it right. Additionally a small wall clock that we requested just glass and a gold decal if they could find the same decal they charged $100 and added a gold decal that prevents you from seeing the pendulum. I could have gotten the glass and the correct decal for a combined $15. What's done is done, but avoid these guys, for sure. read more

HORRIBLE!! DON'T BRING ANYTHING YOU VALUE TO THIS PLACE!! I brought my GREAT, GREAT grandmother's antique kitchen clock to the clock doc, along with a box of spare parts in case they needed them for the repair, including the original winding key, which I never got back. I paid around $320.00 for repairs. Upon pickup, I noticed that the winding key was not in it. I had to ask for it, they said they couldn't find it, and gave me a different key, not the original one. Also, they said they could not locate my box of spare parts, I never got those back either. After I got it home, less than a month later the spring they replaced popped again, so I brought it back in and they said they would have to order more parts, so it may be a bit longer. After 6+ months of not hearing from them I called and was told it wasnt ready yet. After another few months I got a call saying it was ready. I came in to pick it up and was charged another $380.00 I asked why another charge for repairs when it was not fixed properly the first time and the length of time it took. The owner said there was nothing he could do about the cost. I wasnt going to let the clock go, as it's an old family heirloom that has great sentimental value to me. I felt cheated and backed into paying again. Now a total of $700.00. They were very rude about the whole situation. I would never trust this business or these people with ANYTHING I cared about EVER again!! read more

The Clock DOC is very unprofessional and extremely sketchy, John the owner will tell you a price while dropping off your watch and then will increase the price once you pick up your watch without warning. I've confronted him on the phone and he was very unprofessional and wouldn't allow me to speak, he continuously spoke out of line and yelled at me several times saying, "stop bitching!" I will not be doing business here ever again, I'm appalled by his ignorance, and I hope others will take my advise and find another clock/ watch place in town. read more

The guy is about as useless as a milk bucket under a bull. My wife gave me a clock (for being a bad-ass Husband..) that her mother said had been in the family since the Flintstones.. I took it in to the Clock (I will rip you off) Doc and was told he would order the part and it would be 3 weeks and I could find it on my wall.. well, 2 months later my Wife called asking if I had bond money because she was about to grab Nicole because she mouthed off too her.. (Just my luck, no dinner that night) well, make a long story short I went back today and got the clock back and it's still broken, not sure what plant Mr. Wizard is from but dont waste your time or efford.. at least the clock will be right two times a day... Over a period of 8 years we have taken 2 different older wind-up clocks to this business for costly repairs, one significantly over the estimated cost. Long story short, both are inoperable today. And customer service is NOT in his vocabulary! Expect curt replies & lots of attitude. read more

I absolutely will never use them again and recommend buyer beware with him. I had them set my grandfather clock numerous times after various moves, and had no issues. So when my very valuable mantle clock was running slow, I gave it to them to check out - with the specific instruction to call me with the price before working on it. A week later he delivers it to my house, tells me it's $400 for the repair, AND charges me for a home visit (which I would have picked up had I known). He said he had to replace the whole piece inside. I was upset, but wanted the clock so I paid him. Within 24 hours the clock was not working. I called over 10 times and could never get a call back. I even went there but no one in their office. I gave up and took it to another clock repair shop in town. He told me there was nothing changed out inside. It was the original. The Clock Doc literally robbed me of $445, and will not return my phone calls. read more

I gave him an old vintage windup watch to fix. A rare Swiss watch with moving eyes. He told me he would need time because he had to buy watch lots to try to find the hair spring. I left it with him contacting a few times finally after over a year I gave him one more call. I am told the watch left the shop. It did not leave with me ....Buyer beware.... Long story short, after a big run around, I finally took it to another shop to fix a botched "bushing replacement". If I could provide pictures of their poor workmanship I would! they are scam. they do not know how to fix watches. i went there to fix my $1000 watch and they scratched inside of the watch, but they say it scratched by no reason.they charged me $170 for making my watch worse because when i get my watch back it was not working, i will go this place and get my check back tomorrow. when i went to the owner refused to pay me full amount back. do not believe someone who gave 5 stars for clock doc. if you want to waste money and time with broken watches, here is clock doc. read more
