I took my mother's watches in to The Clock Doc be quoted for a repair. Previous quotes from 2 watch repairers in Canberra were around $400 to fix each of them. The watch repairer at The Clock Doc simply replaced the batteries. They are as good as new. This was also the case with my watch. It cost nothing for a quote from The Clock Doc, and $300 to fix rather than the $600 that was quoted, at a cost of $50 for the quote. My watch band is currently being quoted at no cost for repair - it will either be fixed or replaced at a reasonable cost. Another repairer said I would need a new case for my watch at a cost of $1000. I wouldn't go anywhere else in Canberra for watch repairs other than The Clock Doc. read more
