There are fancy stores, there are $2, and there are the useful stores like Target and Big W. The food court seemed a little lacklustre, filled with mostly fast food, and not many interesting options. Skip it all together and head to Dobinson's instead on the ground floor. There's paid parking, but at least it's fairly cheap. At the end of the day it's a shopping centre, and in Australia they usually don't get too excited. It's not as sterile and intimidating as some fancier shopping centres, and you could definitely do a lot worse.

Unfortunately, the amount of documentation needed for new residents to establish a new mobile service is lengthy, but the staff were helpful and patient. It took us a few visits and running around at no fault of the staff, but service was established. This was a good experience, but I only give it 4 stars as we quickly learned not all Optus employees and locations are equal and we were astonished at the rates charged in Australia for such outdated technology and poor mobile/internet coverage.
