Horrific Experience - AVOID Hisense & Harvey Norman Canberra!
I have been a loyal customer of Harvey Norman since 1998, but my recent experience with Hisense has been nothing short of a nightmare. I purchased a Hisense TV that was faulty from the start, and the customer service we received was appalling.
The remote is unresponsive and erratic, making basic TV use impossible. Every 20-30 minutes, a Connect Alexa pop-up interrupts viewing, forcing us to restart the TV constantly. Following the advice of Hisense support, we were told to disable all apps and notifications just to make the TV "work"--an utterly ridiculous solution that renders the TV essentially useless.
We were palmed off repeatedly, with Harvey Norman and Hisense refusing to take responsibility. After exhausting all attempts to get this product working, we returned the TV today and have filed a case in the ACT Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
I strongly warn anyone in Canberra (or elsewhere) to avoid Hisense and Harvey Norman. This experience has been an insult to loyal customers, wasting countless hours of time, frustration, and money. A supposedly "premium" product is clearly not fit for purpose, and the lack of accountability is shocking.
