I was pleasantly surprised to see the price is much cheaper than I am used to paying. And if you go inside and ask Jill for a drying towel she will give you one to borrow at no charge! We went in on a Sunday. I spent 5 hours washing my clothes and just needed them dried. I chose this business despite the bad reviews because it's local and I wanted to give it a chance. I was met with the RUDEST employee I've ever come across in this town. She very aggressively explained I was not welcome to use the dryers unless I was going to wash my clothes all over again. I have never heard of a laundry mat having a policy like this on top of the rude employee. I will never go back to this place and do not recommend it! read more

I spend a lot of time doing laundry. I always come here. There's another laundromat in town, but this one is so much cleaner and almost of the machines are in commission and give your clothes a good wash. The owners are hard working people that deserve recognition honestly, I have spoke with them at great length. And Margarite is really pleasant and helpful. Then there's Jill- I try to avoid going on Sundays because her attitude is just rotten. She will cuss and yell at the customers which is my only gripe with the company. Otherwise, I appreciate how clean they keep the machines and counters. As much as I hate doing laundry, coming to this laundromat is actually a little refreshing and I think they deserve a 5 star review for their efforts! read more

I just moved to the neighborhood. I was greeted by a cranky old lady who runs the laundromat. She made the whole laundromat smell like cigarettes.. 5 of the machines were broken, and she was using the large machine for blankets with her girlfriend who was using two. I was shocked, that she took it upon herself, to chew me out ( a new customer) in front of other customers, for using four machines. needless to say, sometimes it's time for people to retire. i'm a six-year-old woman, I can't put up with that kind of nonsense. read more

The Cleaning Machine - Car Wash Near Me - Prescott, Arizona

The Cleaning Machine has horrible machines that are expensive, employees that are not at all helpful and the owners do NOT support the disabled, especially disabled veterans. Their parking lot is in disrepair making it difficult for those with mobility challenges to traverse. They also do NOT have any disabled parking spaces. When I asked the owner why he doesn't have any disabled spaces, he said his business was grandfathered and that he isn't required to have any disable spaces. Since I'm very familiar with the ADA, I knew he was lying. I Googled it and got the proof I needed to challenge him. I asked him why he lied when the ADA has NO provisions for grandfathering any of its law/regulations. He said, "Well, technically..." and I interrupted him and said, "You just lied to a disabled veteran and I'm going file a complaint with the US Department of Justice (which is the government department that enforces the ADA). I was then verbally attacked by both owners with profanity and accusations that I'm not disabled, even though I have a disabled veterans AZ license plate. Total shit hole! Forgot to leave a Review. So here it is ... It was a Saturday and my godfather and I had to wash our things bcz we had been traveling in our RV. We arrived and noticed it was pretty packed so we unloaded clothes and I set my alarm for 25 min. We returned about 27 min later to find, some woman pulling all out clothing out and putting our stuff on the counter! I was super pissed! And told her to get her damn hands off my underwear and bras WTF! Why doesn't she sniff th while she's at it!!!!!! She then responds with, you left ur stuff sitting here! I said correction, I came in 2 min after washer stopped and she has ZERO right to be touching our Stuff! I swear I was about to knock her clear into the next town, I was so pissed. My godfather walks up and yanks his underwear out of her hands and tells her to back off! The entire situation was vey traumatic and I grabbed our wet clothes and left! You have so many other great locations to do laundry in Prescott, please, go somewhere else. The manager who works here is rude. We couldn't get the washer to start, even put two extra quarters in. We asked for help and he was sarcastic and rude when it was his washer that wasn't even working. Just please, don't support this kind of behavior. We already had a load in another washer. Once both were done we took our wet laundry to a different location to dry them. Life's to short to deal with people like that. read more

There are the rudest bunch of people running this place. I will NEVER go there again. I was washing and drying a machine washable rug, and went in to get it from dryer and was told off by some psycho woman working there. She told me my rug was the reason their machines were breaking down and that since it is rubber I should take it to the car wash. It's not rubber. It's a specifically machine washable rug. I had washed and dried the same rug multiple times there with no issues. Was willing to look past the fact that the place is filthy because it is close to my house. Horrible!!!!!!!!!!!! This old lady took stuff out of our dryer because she said we overloaded it. When we came back to grab our laundry, she saw us and was standing by the door and gave us dirty looks and DID NOT say she took stuff out of our dryer. I go home and i put away my stuff, im missing half of my underwear and work clothes. They were closed, but i tried to call and she picked up and said she had our clothes. I asked her if she could wait 10 minutes for me to come get them and she agreed. I called 5:05, i was there by 5:14. I see her and I politely thanked her (even tho she took stuff out of the dryer without alerting me and i risked a ticket to get back in 10 minutes!!) to which she responded by cussing me out, lying and saying she's been waiting for longer than 2 MINUTES ( what????? I said 10 and she repeated 10. How would i get there in 2? Does she think people fly??) and she said ' i should have known not to trust you fucking people!' EXCUSE ME??? How dare you! You touched my stuff without alerting us and almost stole half of my stuff! I was a weekly customer. I will never be back. What a pathetic sad woman. Do not come here, especially if this old lady is working. I hope management is paying attention. I also see lots of reviews talking about this nasty old witch! Should not be working in customer service. Absolute disgrace..never met a clerk so arrogant she would think it's ok to scream and go off on paying customers when clearly you fucked up, too. just retire if you dont wanna work. We had a good experience at this laundromat. Not sure why there seems to be so many poor reviews? Went in last week with 8 loads of laundry. Yep....8. That is a whole other story. Anyhoo, we were able to get in, get our stuff washed and dried and out in a couple of hours. Lauren (sp?), the owner was present and helped people as needed. Place is on the smaller side and is a basic laundry place. If you are looking for some place that offers all the frills, like some of the big city laundry places, you won't be happy. If you have 8 loads of laundry to clean and accidentally leave one load in the washer and forget about it and return the next day to it having been dried, folded, bagged and set aside for you (at no cost), then this is the place for you. Took some washed clothes to dry here, due to having moved and need gas line ran to gas dryer, not yet installed. They said no wash here, no dry here. "We have too many people waiting to dry as it is" How dumb is that? The base issue is they do not have enough dryers for their own wash customers. Pretty mindless. I used the middle size washers, not enough water to generate any suds. I told the female manager and she totally ignored my concern. After the cycle my clothes did not smell clean at all. The best laundromat in Prescott by far

I used to use this place to dry my laundry (as my landlord only has a washer unit) but one day I came in and the attendant rudely told me I could not just dry my laundry there, I would have to wash it there too. I will not be returning to wash or dry my laundry in the future, or use the connected car wash like I used to. I now use Splash, where attendants have been much friendlier to me and don't care whether I just dry my laundry there. It also is much cleaner and less crowded, with a nicer waiting area, so I don't miss the Cleaning Machine that much. read more

We've been here a bunch of times and the place is quite clean and the change machine full. We've never had any problems parking or getting time in the machines. The staff is friendly and helpful. We recently needed the use of a laundry. The Cleaning Machine was close to us, so we decided to try it. When we got ready to add fabric softener we noticed an oily film in the rinse water. We asked the attendant to look at it and she blamed our clothes. Our clothes were not oily, it's their machine or it's from the previous person and you didn't clean your machine. I have used this laundry several times, and every time, I think "Why don't I find another place?" The machines work fine, other than a dryer that is still cool after 15 minutes on high. But the owner and employees and customers sit outside both of the open doors smoking. So you just CAN'T get away from the smoke; they might as well be smoking inside. I chose this laundromat based on Facebook recommendations that it was clean. I guess my definition of clean is different. I looked in 6 washing machines before I found 3 that weren't full of hair/fur. Even then, when I thought I found "clean" ones, a big wad of hair/fur came out with my clean clothes. Ewww. Grossed me out. Several washing machines were out of order. Fairly small place. I'll be looking somewhere else for my next trip. read more

I did my laundry there yesterday and for the most part was pleased. Except for the elderly woman employee. She was rude and condensating. This is not a one time problem. I have a king size down comforter that needed a large commercial washer. Since this was my first visit, I needed some help as to what washer to use, amount of soap etc . The lady on duty was wonderful! She answered all of my questions, was so nice & friendly & kept the place neat & tidy. We were there about 2 hrs & never saw her stop! I will return in the future. My clothes were sopping wet after a wash cycle. I asked that the attendant put them through another spin. She blamed me for the problem and turned and walked away. I had to literally wring out water from the load. I spent a fortune trying to dry 4 loads of clothes. The dryers were not very hot, so I kept checking for status. She said if you keep slamming the doors you pay for repairs and damages. You're on camera and will be charged with tresspassing if you ever try to come in here again. I reminded her that she was also on camera and that I wouldn't think of using this laundry again. When we asked for the owner's name and phone number, she refused to give it. When we got in our vehicle to leave, she followed us outside and screamed 'have a nice day.' Threatening your customers is bad business practice. After spending at least $15 there, I had to take the four loads to another laundry to finish drying them. I spoke to two other customers at the other laundry who had similar experiences with surly and rude staff. read more
