Arranged for Plumber Greg to come in a couple of days when I had a later start at work. Said he'd be here 7ish, & sure enough at 6.50am on the day he pulled up! I like that. Hate waiting for a late tradie. We've all done it. Waited & waited. Then eventually phoned, to be told they aren't coming. I can't see this guy ever doing that! Greg checked my job, as per our discussion on the phone. Yes, he had the right pieces in his truck & he got started. When he finished we tested it together & I happily paid by EFTPOS. A friendly & efficient experience. Glad to have found a local plumber that I can call on in the future.

I sent them on their merry way.... Customers...dont be lazy...unless you have inherited piles of $$ from daddy!!! . Do some homework yourself before throwing hard earned $ at this mob. I am getting the job done this Friday by the way and it will cost me $1700 in total. All the electrician could tell me was that the fan was broken and needed replacing. One fan would have cost me $809 (excl GST). He didn't carry a basic halogen lightbulb, and could only help by replacing the whole halogen system with LED lights. I had to pay $79 for the privilege of him telling me he could do squat. And that's after he turned up well outside the agreed time slot. I ended up getting another electrician the next day who was able to fix both fans and replace the lightbulbs for $350 (incl GST).

Had these guys out last week to advise what to do with a leak I had between the mains and the…read morehouse. I told the plumber that because I was a pensioner, I needed to save some money by doing some of the work if possible. They gave me a price so long as I could find the pipe to get into. I not only found the pipe but also dug from the mains around the root system of a tree to connect to the pipe I found in order to save even more money. They still charged me the amount they quoted regardless of me doing more of their work: It took them 30 minutes flat to lay about 3 to 4 metres of copper with two bends. I didn't save anything and they didn't even put sand under the pipe as quoted and didn't even fill the trench back in. 30 minutes and 3-4 metres of pipe cost $1481 ... I got badly duped I rang the manager (who didn't do the job) and asked him if that was fair and he said it was fair to him.
