The employees were so helpful and made sure that I was taken care of! But that's not even the best part. Whenever I go into a western store and see a George Strait cutout, I ALWAYS offer to buy it, I'm a super fan. They are extremely rare to find for sale, and if they are, they're usually expensive since they're limited edition. Well this time, they let me leave my name and phone number so that they could ask the owner. I was tickled because usually stores won't give you the time of day. I didn't expect to hear back. But 2 weeks pass by, and I'm driving through Cullman so I give them a call. They tell me to hold on a minute. "He wants $500 for it," they told me, and I totally understood but as a college student, I knew better than to spend big money like that lol!! I was about to reply but then she said, "Just kidding! He wants to give it to you for free. Merry Christmas!" YALL, I was so excited, I nearly wrecked my car. I whipped into that store and honestly couldn't believe it. I'm a huge George Strait fan, always have been, and this made my year. It seems silly but it is genuinely one of the coolest things I own now and it's right beside my collection at home. I can't think Mr. Larry enough, and also the two wonderful women who helped me!! I FaceTimed my parents, my friends, I even made a TikTok about it!! Now, the finding things... That's where I had to knock a star off. This store is jam packed with odds and ends. All kinds of things on shelves, on the floor, in cases, nailed to the walls, literally everywhere. So unless you k ow exactly where something is, you'll probably have to ask for help finding it. Which is no problem! They're happy to help!There's also not a lot of room to move around without bumping into someone or something. We bought a rifle there today and it was a good brand, good quality, and at a great price point. Competitively priced! I'm sure we'll be back for the great customer service!

I posted the screenshot and tagged Lesia in it, no response. Lesia was active on the page, so I know she saw my posts, just chose to take no accountability for her mistake and ignored me. Very unprofessional. Lesia made a post in the group "it's a great day to shop at the pickers choice" so I commented on that post and said that I would love to shop the pickers choice when I come to pick up the item I claimed, but you chose to give it to someone else. I messaged the page as well, and they called me a bully. I guess I'm done shopping here!

I bought a couple of other items like a multi grip barbell and an EZ curl bar. These have all been satisfactory. I bought a couple of 70 lb hex dumbbells one of which had a poorly installed handle which they replaced. However, I also bought a couple of 35 lb hex dumbbells and they always felt a little off. I finally weighed them after a couple of years out of curiosity and one was basically 40 lbs and the other was just over 35. I sent a message to their customer service about this and never heard back. Even though it had been a while since I bought them, I had researched their warranty on items before messaging them - 35 lbs should always be 35 lbs right? Maybe it's a change in ownership or location since they moved from Birmingham to Hartselle, but needless to say, when it came to buying my next barbell, I turned to Rogue.

It arrived…read morevia FedEx, and the box was left out in the pouring rain (though there is cover at our house it could have easily been put under). That is not the fault of Wright, however, the storage bar inside was wrapped in nothing. It was just thrown in a box with no protection. So when the box was broken in transit and then left out in the rain, there was damage to the bar. I contacted Wright, and they seemed understanding enough, asked if I wanted a replacement or a refund and I decided on a refund. They wanted me to send the bar back, which was confusing to me since it was damaged, but I didn't have a box since they one it arrived in was a mushy mess with holes all over it. They said in an email: "Then just tape the label to the plate holder without a box. You will have to return it to get a refund. It is damaged already a little more will be ok." I've never laughed so hard! Tape a label to the bar and just slap it in the mail? LOOOOOL. That's not how any of this works. So, I messaged FedEx on Twitter and they told me all good, just bring it and they'd package it for free. Turns out that was not true and they don't offer that service, I think they just told me that because I have a large social media following. Which is so dumb, but whatever, after showing the DMs to the people at FedEx they dealt with it. I felt bad but Wright didn't give me a choice, they wanted me to pay for packaging too after sending me something broken? Nah. Anyway, it's been a week and a half since the plate storage arrived at Wright and they still haven't refunded me. Looks like I'm going to have to file yet another credit card dispute. I ordered plate storage from PRx Performance and it's great! Showed immediately and it was properly wrapped. For a few extra bucks, it was well worth it. They also removed my review from their website, I submitted one weeks ago and it's nowhere to be found.
