This was such a fun escape room! When you first arrive there's a lounge room to wait in, pick out…read moresome costumes if you want, and there's a mini "warm-up" puzzle. Then, they take you into the escape room where there's some cubbies to store your personal belongings. There is only one escape room here and it's called Sal's Cybernetics and is for 2-6 people. The theme was really immersive and there were some really cool puzzles to solve! The staff increases the difficultly based on the teams progress so we got the hard version and solved everything in 42 minutes.

It was fun, with costumes and accessories to set the mood before you get into the room. The whole place had a coherent vibe from the second you walk in the door, and they do a good job of tuning you to their frequency. The theme is a sort of technological dystopia, cyber-punk with a touch of steampunk nostalgia. The room itself had a dynamic level of difficulty. I enjoyed the story, which followed us throughout and made sense with the aesthetic. The hints are just right to keep play active but engaging. The puzzle involves some moving around, but nothing physical enough to alienate people. (I had a knee injury acting up and I could do everything just fine.) Staff was helpful, and shared cool facts about their process and vision. We can't wait to go back when they open another room!

They're closed…read moreSundays which made it harder to visit but I finally was able to come on a Saturday and do the Mogollon Monster room as a group of 5. This has to be the most immersive escape room I've done! The staff did an amazing job getting into character and setting the scene. Normally at escape rooms you have to ask if you want a clue but here they just gave you a few. One of the times I felt like I would've figured it out on my own in time. I don't want a clue unless we're really stuck haha. We finished with 10 minutes to spare. After we finished, our host asked if we had any explanations and further explained some of the puzzles. I also love the speakeasy-style hidden entrance with the code word and you can order milkshakes from Soda Jerk from the escape room lounge after you complete the escape room. I definitely want to come back and do the other two escape rooms here!

The boys longed to swing clubs and send golf balls with care, In hopes one might roll and drop clean in the cup there. But alas, not a tee time or booking in sight, So a side quest was sparked in the glow of the night. "To Soda Jerk!" was the call, with milkshakes in mind, Sweet dreams of cold treats and good times intertwined. Yet fate had a twist, as it often will do-- We found ourselves hiking where the tall pines grew. Deep in the Rim where the wild things call home, Where monsters are rumored and few dare to roam. Five brave boys pressed on through the dark and the thrill, With one daring goal and unwavering will: To capture a glimpse--just a shot, just a sight-- Of the Mogollon Monster that roams in the night. And somehow, someway, through luck or through fate, They captured their proof--yeah, the legend was great. So back into town, with stories to share, Milkshakes for all to top off the affair. A birthday well spent, wild, strange, and just right-- Happy birthday to all, and to all a good night. (Would totally recommend this room, was a blast!)

I took my family to do the Runaway AI themed escape room. The business is located in a strip mall,…read morebut the anchor store was a Harbor Freight that was going out of business, so nearby parking was abundant. We went on a Saturday nice. The front lobby was clean and had a no-charge foosball table you could play while waiting for your game to start, which was a nice Ent-Bite. (I am coining that here!) They also offered water bottles for sale. This will be helpful once the Arizona heat starts up in May (and ends in October). The AI room was clean and nicely decorated. We successfully escaped the room. It was fun seeing my husband and my two boys having fun. The negative - the location was understaffed. The business had just one employee working. This employee had to monitor all the rooms, which included giving clues to those in the various game rooms. He also was checking people in, taking pictures of those leaving, answering phones, and I assume also cleaning and prepping the room when people left. I get businesses wanting to increase their bottom line but they are being shortsighted when they cut corners that impact user experience. An escape room is about engaging in distraction. An understaffed escape room causes users to wait on a games master to address their questions while the clock is counting down. Our host said he added some time due to the delay. While that was nice, it would have been better to actually play the game as it should have been played so that our sense of accomplishment is not devalued. Anyway, the room was good, the theme and decoration was fine. Would I go back again, yes and no. There is nothing stopping me from going back, but if I find a business that better staffs its business, which also shows kindness to its staff, I prefer to support that business owner.

The puzzles were just challenging enough where we didn't feel frustrated but also didn't feel super easy either. We got out with just 6 minutes left on the clock so we definitely took majority of the time given to complete everything! We learned it's a small family owned company who designs their own stories too which is awesome! Highly recommend checking them out.
