We hadn't seen Shucked before and I knew it'd be the funny light hearted silly type of humor we'd enjoy together since we love laughing. We had a great time. My son wasn't originally planning on attending but his flight was delayed by 9 hours, and the box office provided exceptional service when I needed another ticket upon arrival. While the production runs are pretty short it's so special to have the opportunity to catch the touring shows. We valeted the car and pre ordered ice-cream for intermission. If you live nearby this is a no brainer and even from a good drive over I'm still considering several other shows. The performance hall is very lovely, plush seats, lots of nice options for snacks and drinks. Bring a sweater because it can get a little chilly but perfect escape for whatever weather TX is throwing at you. Every individual from valet, to box office, ushers and more provided such great service. We throughly enjoyed ourselves. Looking forward to returning and making more of a day of it while in the Fort Worth area.

The subtitles above the stage made it much easier to follow along with what was being sung, which really enhanced the experience. The atmosphere was perfect for an afternoon performance, and it was nice that drinks were available. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout. We sat in the upper section, and it did get a little warm--but considering it was a full house, it was understandable. Overall, it was a beautiful performance and a great experience.

How you get greeted at a restaurant is your first impression and every single person made me feel welcome especially coming in as a party of one. That visit we had an off putting initial exchange with the guy doing check in; who told my kid to throw away their plastic water bottle. I offered to put it in my bag cause they needed it for some medications theg were taking at the time but the only options was leave it at the bar, toss it, or take it to the car and get a free water from the food station. I get not wanting spills but both the cider cups and water cups offer no lids and my kids water had a lid and could go in a bag. I think we caught this guy on a bad day because we have not had that issue again. Though we learned our lesson and if we had a water we stuck it in my bag. At another locations they explained they are actually fine with water bottles ... They ask just don't be obvious about it...just don't want people bringing in things like starbucks drinks or sonic drinks that take away from their drink sales or could be sneaking in something that could cost them their serving license. Make sure to get food before, as there aren't too many immediate places to grab food before the shoe. Regarding the venue, it's small and intimate. It has a dive-bar feel, but it is pretty unique. There's a record shop at the back where you can shop before and during the show. The vibes were really cool, and the venue is pretty unique. I've been to thousands of shows and hundreds of venues across the country, and definitely have no reservations recommending this venue. Perfect size, and the sound quality was solid. I only wish there were more food options in and around the venue.

It says a great deal about a business that will host a political event so kindly. In addition to providing the space, they also had beverages for sale, and the gentleman serving was very personable. The place, despite being packed with individuals ready to see positive change in the world, was well air conditioned on this hot Texas day. Parking was acceptable, with a lot beside the venue as well as street parking alongside. For a bar, the restrooms were very clean. The place was well maintained. Pool tables were aplenty. Seating and standing room, A+. I will certainly return to this venue for a non-political event, and I cannot say "thank you" enough for hosting this organizing event. Beto for Texas, 2018!
