This…read moregroup arrived promptly on time to haul away an old applicance; however, had to move it to the curb because their 'truck was full'. This was at 0900 hrs in the morning. They indicated they would be back later to pick it up. They did not. When contacting the HomeDepot customer service via text, they offered that it can be picked up over 4 days later! and that the company only delivers certain days. What does not make sense is, why did they not have space for a haul away (that's their job); and why did they not come back when they said they would. Home Depot needs to reconsider whom they source their deliveries with. I, for one, will not purchase another appliance for delivery unless they manage the delivery themselves; not subcontracts. As an aside, the one of the delivery persons asked me if I were Fillipino (which is quite inappropriate); especially given I'm quite clearly a very pale Caucasian.

Before the pandemic, though, they were very friendly and more than willing to walk you through the store to find that item you were looking for, even if it's way out of their department. Always happy to go there.

My only complaint would be that I was told I would receive an email as soon as it was delivered, and I didn't get one until later in the afternoon. In this case it didn't matter because I called my parents so I know it was delivered, but if I was counting on that email I would have been disappointed about the late delivery...

Not like the stuff you see in the aisles at Walmart. There are gorgeous books, educational toys and lots of fairytale/fantasy items, like hobby horses on sticks. My friend's daughter loves everything princess. They had a gorgeous rabbit princess dress in her size. It had flowers and rabbit ears on the headband and even a fluffy little tail on the back of the dress. She loved it. I also got her a cute picture book about dream animals. I would have loved this place when I was little! Oh, and they had these milk straws with flavour in the straw so that when you drink the milk it gets infused with that flavour. I think the one I got for her was Unicorn...something. Can't remember exactly but I had a giggle with her mom about them. So unique! If you need a special gift for an adorable child in your life, this is the place to go. The girl working behind the counter was so nice too! We had a great conversation about how she lived on the island and took the ferry to work. I really enjoyed shopping here! I'm going back to Kingston in October and will definitely stop in to grab another present for Izabela. I wish I'd taken pictures of the items, but I forgot and though I have one of Izabela in the dress, I wouldn't post a picture of a child anywhere online these days! Just take my word for it. They advertise a free game night that happens on Thursdays and Sundays from 5pm to close. The store also had a ton of gift store staples like fun stationary and planners, totes and pencil cases with fun prints and quirky slogans, as well as housewares and accessories. They also had a pretty substantial craft section with a lot of knitting supplies. It was a little bit earlier on in the day so there were a lot of employees milling about setting things up. They left us alone for the most part to browse at our leisure but it was nice to see that it would be easy to get help if we had specific questions.
