I approached carefully, someone else was at the window, but i peered around on my tip-toes looking to see if I could find a traditional gyro spit. AH-HA! Finally someone in New Haven doing it right... I order my Gyro.... WITH FETA (because that's the only way it should be eaten). I watch as a piping hot pita is filled with freshly sliced gyro & veggies. The sign says that it comes with fresh cut fries, so when i'm handed a bag with just a foil wrapper i'm confused. I walk away because I was busy at work that day and needed to get back to the office, but I start to curse the lady in my head.... "Where's my damn fries, so much for a 5 star review" As i'm walking back to the office I start to think about the menu board and pull out my phone, check the menu board and notice it says "...all piled into a soft pita" NO! NO WAY! The fries are in the gyro? Now this purist is even more pissed off... how dare they desecrate an authentic gyro with fries... I get back to my office and feverishly unwrapped the foil to find fries in my gyro, but the smell was intoxicating, so i took a bite.... of heaven. I'll shut up now, fries belong, it was THAT good. The meat was perfectly seasoned, the pita was soft & warm, the feta & tzatziki added just the right amount of saltiness. Go, get a gyro, indulge, fall asleep, do it all over again.... can't wait to try the rest of their menu!

Two seconds later the truck runs out of gas and propane!!! I asked for a full refund and was giving back cash (I had paid with card) without the tip included. So I had to ask for my money back in full a second time. No lunch for me today, you guys drive all the way from Milford and don't prep for gas and propane????? Thanks oh & my friend did get her veggie burger, cold and barely cooked with cold fries. Awesome !!!!! So this is in response to the owners post because he decided to fabricate his own story. No one apologized to me via Instagram, they deleted my comment twice & then blocked me, no one offered me lunch so I'm not sure who you're referring to. Then you said I acted multiple ways towards your staff, there was only one woman in the truck with the chef and the only words we exchanged were me requesting my money so again you must be referring to someone else. Talk about an exaggerated narrative.

I was dying to try their red hots and one of their stuffed burgers. I opted for the French onion burger and it was heavenly. The onions were perfectly cooked and you could taste the essence of a French onion soup. The burger was juicy and nicely cooked. The red hot was EXACTLY what I wanted. It has been so hard to find these and I was beyond delighted to get my hands on one. It was perfectly grilled with a nice snap in every bite. The perfect amount of spicy and I ended up tearing through two with ease. I'm going to try to get to their restaurant in north haven for sure in the future. They are one of the top food trucks in CT hands down.

My wife is from the Philippines and absolutely loves ribs and everything pork, but had already ordered food elsewhere. Marcus was absolutely amazing and had us try the ribs anyway. Now, I usually don't like ribs much, but I'll definitely be back for these. Absolutely buttery and smooth and the smoke flavor was amazing. (We ended up ordering a batch to take home.) The brisket was absolutely on point too. A big thanks to Marcus and Julian for going the extra mile and indulging all our questions and curiosities about the process of smoking on site. I can't wait to come back and eat myself through the rest of the menu.

Pulled Pork had a hint of smoke, but I felt it was slightly dry (this was because it was chopped so much, that takes out the moisture). Wasn't bad, but it also wasn't the best I've had either (please understand that I spent 2014 in the Deep South, I've eaten at numerous Q joints in Northern Alabama, so my standards are high). Generous portion of meat though. Mac & Cheese was excellent, made just the way I like it. Most places it's too saucy, but not here. Coleslaw was alright, it was mayo-based, not like Southern vinegar-based coleslaw. Overall, my tummy left full, but I wasn't overwhelmed with great flavor. I do appreciate what these guys are doing in New Haven, Connecticut and I wish them the best of luck. Might come back for wings in the future.

It's definitely mean coconut and curry, but there's no depth to the flavor no five spices no ginger no garlic, fish saucer anything very bland could have used some salt no cumin's came with it. Hoisin sauce, soy sauce, nothing on the side no chili crisp no nothing I couldn't find any cilantro.
