The truffles here are YES. A must stop in the area. When you go in a candy store in a tourist trap, you aren't expecting much, and this place far exceeded my expectations. The Chocolate Express was a quick shop to grab some sweet treats. On the Main Street of Downtown BlueRidge, this shop is easy to get to. They had loads of truffle flavors and over 10 ice cream flavors. This shop was small but housed over 15 different chocolate truffle flavors, if not more. They had flavors from White Chocolate Caramel, Black Forest Truffles, and even Key Like Truffles. They were sold at $1.99 each or even 1lb or 32 truffles for $22. Similarity they had a variety of ice cream flavors. Including Moosetracks, Rocky Road in forms from Malt Shakes to regular Cones. The ice cream seemed like a popular option. Would definitely recommend grabbing a sweet treat here at Chocolate Express or even a gift to fly home with. Pro Tip: The shop is small so don't expect to eat there, but easy to grab and go. read more

Absolutely fell in love with this place the second I walked in. They have a huge assortment of chocolates including truffles, cookies, clusters, sugar-free options, etc. in addition to candy (I admit I went straight for the rock candy) and ice cream. Towards the back is freshly made fudge as well. I recommend the milk chocolate, key lime pie, chocolate raspberry, and maple flavored fudge. Service was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and genuine. Great fudge shop in downtown Blue Ridge! They also sell truffles and ice cream. Truffles were $10 for 16 or $20 for 32. I feel like that's the cheapest I've ever seen truffles, so I bought a box and they tasted amazing. They had a bunch of flavors to chose from both for the truffles and the fudge. I believe all of their fudge is made from scratch in store, and you can also get a 15% discount off your purchase if you come with your wristband from the local winery, Bear Claw Vineyard, which is awesome. read more

Visited store yesterday. Owner was very rude. We were holding door open to get baby stroller out. She complained that her air conditioner was running all day. FYI customers entering and leaving need tp open the door for access. And if it was running all day that means lots of customers. We won't be contributing to your utility bills in future. read more
