During that entire time, not one employee acknowledged us or offered help while we searched for sizes and colors. At checkout, things got worse. After I paid in cash, the cashier handed me my bills and change all in one hand and said, "We don't have any pennies, is that okay?" She never explained what I was agreeing to. I couldn't tell if I was given more or less than expected because everything was handed to me at once, and she was very vague. When I asked for clarification, she eventually said they couldn't give me the exact change because "they don't make pennies anymore." That explanation made no sense. Whether or not pennies are still being produced has nothing to do with a current transaction--there are still plenty in circulation. The issue wasn't the penny--it was the assumption. She didn't ask if I had exact change, didn't ask if I had pennies, and didn't explain upfront that I was being shorted. She just decided it was acceptable. I remained calm, polite, and spoke in a softer tone than usual because I didn't want to make a scene. But I did explain that it's rude to assume a customer doesn't want their change, no matter how small the amount. Another employee overheard and asked what was going on. The cashier responded, "She's complaining because I didn't have one penny." That completely misrepresented the situation. The second employee replied, "Well, they don't make them anymore, so what do you want us to do?"--which only made things worse. I even pointed out that I had pennies on me, reinforcing that this wasn't the customer's problem to solve. If anything, a business should round in favor of the customer--not against them. The cashier argued that giving me more would make her drawer short, which again shows a lack of understanding of basic customer service. At one point, the second employee disengaged entirely and turned away with a smirk, which was incredibly unprofessional. Eventually, a third employee (who appeared to be a manager) stepped in and said, "Just give her a nickel"--which is exactly what I suggested from the beginning. At that point, it wasn't even about the money anymore--it was about how the situation was handled from start to finish. Also worth noting: if the situation were reversed and I was short a penny, I highly doubt they would have said, "That's fine, they don't make them anymore." I would have been expected to come up with the difference. We left without taking the nickel, but the experience left a lasting impression. For the prices they charge ($45 for shorts, $35 for a tank top), I expect far better service and professionalism. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING. Much rather spend my money at Lululemon and get SUPERB service.

I walked in and within seconds I had a tank top, pair of pants, and a mini skirt in hand. The prices were very affordable, more than say H&M but less than say.. Macys. The style is a combo of street style and club style.. Maybe? They also have loungewear and it looked SO FREAKIN COMFY! I loved all the racer type gear and several of the jackets they had. They also have accessories like jewelry, hats, etc. In the end, I walked out with a pleather mini skirt with a slit. Super Cute, about $50. The staff was super friendly, assisting me in the dressing room and getting me new sizes when needed. Also when checking me out. They have a loyalty program that's free and gets you 10% off your first purchase. There is no doubt that I'll be back here and I'm excited to come outside of the holidays when I won't feel as guilty buying stuff for myself.

They have a lot of cool young-looking and oft-preppy clothes for prices that are anywhere from average to really, really high - and most here are high. They carry certain types of clothes with a few color choices. I found a pair of maroon athletic pants with a little glam trim. They were baggy in the thighs, more tapered in the calf, banded at the ankle, with a drawstring waist. For $10, I really couldn't go wrong. They had a pair in black, but I already have 2 pairs of black sweats. I grabbed a size that usually fits and moved one. I also needed socks and remembered buying some here before. They had a few to pick from at a decent price so I grabbed a packet so I could throw out some pairs at home that showed too much wear. Having come from Dollar Tree and finding they were out of every item I needed (all too recurring situation), I thought I would see if they had any of the things I wanted. Sure enough, they had the Hawaiin Punch water mix ins for a dollar. In the flavors I wanted, so I picked them up and headed for the register. For a change, there was no one in line and 2 young clerks who knew what they were doing and rang me up quickly. More often than not, there is a line and at one clerk on slow motion warp speed. The others are nice and proficient. The pants ended up fitting fine - so no need to return. I have had to return/exchange things in the past and doing so have never been a hassle - just do it quickly and have the receipt!

I had such high hopes for this store for many reasons, but mainly the price. I'll start at the very beginning when I decided that I was going to purchase a couch and went into the store to look at their selection. I stopped in on Memorial weekend since I knew that if I was going to make such a large purchase, I would rather do it on a weekend when there was a sale. I walked around the store for about an hour, testing the couches, taking pictures, and trying to find the one for me. During this time, not one employee asked me if I needed help, while I could clearly see them all staring at me. I don't want to assume why they did not help me, but it did feel like it was due to my age and appearance since they were quick to help the older couples that fit the store's demographic more accurately. I finally got an employee to help me, and she was very kind. I decided on the Wellington Sectional in the color Pearl. This was a special order since I got a custom color. I came back the next day with my mom to get her opinion and make sure I did not forget to ask any important questions before I made the purchase. Part of the Memorial sale required me to open a credit card, and this is where the trouble truly begins. Half of the couch was to be put on the credit card at the time of purchase, and then the other half at delivery. It was very frustrating opening the card since none of the employees truly seemed to know how their credit card system actually worked. They could not tell me if interest started accruing before or after delivery or any of the other questions that I asked. They told me that the couch was estimated to be delivered in November. I later get an email several months later saying that it was being delayed until the beginning of October, which as you can imagine was confusing. I decided to call and get an answer. Trying to get ahold of customer service has been nothing short of exhausting and unhelpful. They could not tell me why that email was sent and truly had no idea when to expect the couch. This became a real issue for me, since I had made arrangements for my current couch to be given to a friend based on their delivery estimate. Finally weeks later, I get an email saying that now it will be delivered in December. So, I have given my couch away, and will not have one until December. Once again, customer service and the furniture team had no idea what was happening and could not provide me any assistance and when they said they resolved the issue, it was never solved. This becomes a theme. Finally, I do receive the notification I can get my couch. I try to schedule delivery and I am told there is a hold on my account. This can't be since I pay my card every month and have never missed a payment. I call once again. They tell me that my credit card is expired. Now, how can a credit card opened in May expire in less than 6 months. So, once again, I have to figure the issue out myself for customer service. They tell me it is resolved and I can schedule delivery. A week goes by, there is still a hold. I call back and repeat this process. Turns out, the last woman didn't release the hold at all. Finally, the woman named Emily fixes my account after 3 tries and we schedule delivery. Besides the actual couch issues and customer service issues. There were also issues with me receiving my rewards that I was promised from the memorial weekend sale. Not only did they not upload to my account, once I called to have them added, they expired before I even received my couch. They send them to you in separate increments so that you cannot use them to purchase one large item. This sounds petty but after all of the hurdles, I was extremely irritated by this. I finally picked something out on the last day so that they did not go to waste and tried to have it shipped to my home, and shipping was $35, absolutely ridiculous. That was a site wide shipping price for small items. Then, my second round of points were not added, once again. Although, the couch I received is good quality and I am glad that I have it, I would NEVER purchase from this company again. It was not worth the several months of headache and acting as my own customer service agent. They knew they did wrong since they refunded shipping fees, but when you are paying over $3000 for a couch, you expect exceptional customer service and treatment. That is far from what I received.
