This company does not credit if you lose receipt..even if you bring in credit card bill for item.Also I went to another branch including the original and they recognized me as the buyer ,but would do nothing.I think they should do more for neighborhood residents.We do not have enough childrens stores and we do not need nasty attitudes. read more

I have ordered 3 times from the children's place and each and every time the order gets screwed up somehow and I have to spend so much time trying to fix the issue! This last time , the order went to Brooklyn instead of Staten Island.. I tried to cancel the order literally a minute after I ordered it, customer service can not cancel The order or re route it to the correct location.. now the order is in Brooklyn and I have been calling the store literally ALL DAY LONG and they do not answer the phone... ALL DAY LONG!! It's infuriating and this will absolutely be my last time dealing with this atrocious business. read more

I've never been a fan of Children's Place. They typically have a very sloppy appearance. Also, the quality of the clothing always seemed subpar. I was at the Gap next door and wasn't able to get much; so I ventured here. My daughter had her own money and I was allowing her to buy whatever she liked, since it was her money to spend. She got two outfits, that she liked for summer camp, but overall I was still disappointed with what they had to offer. read more

The young lady at the cash register has no signs of life. She's completely checked out with no smile, no greeting, no emotions. Just the bare minimum yes and no when asked questions or even better - no response. The way she chats with the other staff is the same way so at least it's not just me. read more

They have slightly improved their customer service. They help you w sizing and anything you may be looking for on the racks and the line to pay has improved. They have a good selection of kids clothes but make sure you are keeping your purchases. The returns process is ridiculously long. read more

I try to return it once " they said NO - we need you ID for prove " OK! Second time , few days later " they said NO - our credit card terminal not working". I go here almost on a daily basis since I work in the area - this also used to be one of my first jobs many years ago. With that being said - the staff has drastically changed over the years and doesn't seem for the better. The girls behind the counter are always gossiping loudly and a curse slips out here and there in front of the customer being helped. They don't have the most welcoming faces on and no one approaches you to see if you need help or not. If I could give this location negative stars I would! Horrible experiences at this location. Bought a coat in store...on-line store had it at half the price...they wouldn't honor the price. Second experience ordered online for store pick-up...because my husband paid for it they wouldn't allow me to pick it up even though the email is under my name, the account was under my name, our last name is the same and the address on the email is the same as the one on my ID. The manager rather make my child cry in her store than give me the coat we paid for. She would however make me purchase the coat again in her store and now I have to wait for the online store to cancel my pickup order. All so my son won't freeze when we go on our trip this weekend. This store seller guys are not helpful.I open website and I showed all items to my 4 years old son and He choosed one of his favorite boots and I preorder that item,After I paid I put on for store pick up. And When I get the store next day they said those boots are SOLD OUT. It was available for sale when I order by online but they didn't work properly and didn't reserve the item for online purchase.So because of that I missed that item.
