She really did bot have to go the lengths she did and she did. Aside from Tammie, the venue was beautiful and extravagant. We had so many compliments on the venue we chose. And people did not expect it because of the city we were in. (Modesto of all places!) Definitely a hidden gem. Because it was already so nice on the inside, we did not even hire a decorator. I spent maybe $150 on greenery from Costco to put as centerpieces per table and had enough to add to sweetheart table, my bouquet, and the welcome table. The con: Although the layout looked so extravagant, it was difficult to not offend some family members because we had to seat some upstairs. Some did complain they felt excluded because they couldn't really see the sweetheart table or the "stage" part of the venue and they couldn't really hear what was being announced as well. However, they do have screens upstairs and downstairs and we could have projected a live screening so that the people sitting upstairs could watch us during the ceremony or dinner time and then go downstairs when it was time to party. And we'd recommend getting a good DJ that has quality equipment in order to project to the upstairs guests. Our DJ had so many technical difficulties and did not come prepared.
