My husband and I recently got married at The Century, and we can't say enough great things about Erin, Trina, Noelani, Malia, and the rest of the team! From day 1, they were very organized, and they communicated what we needed to do vs. what they would take care of. To plan your big day, they have 5-6 meetings with you. These range from initial planning (e.g. picking the color of tablecloths and the setup of the room, choosing an altar, selecting desserts, etc) to meeting with the DJ, florist, and more. They take care of the rest! You are able to set up a Pinterest board for inspiration, and they completely carry out your vision. They even bent over backwards to set up a banana split bar for my husband because he was so set on it! The coordinator, Trina, is top notch. She is seriously perfect for this job! She's so friendly and fun, but she can also wrangle your wedding party like a boss when needed. I knew she had every detail under control so we didn't have to worry one bit. Erin, the owner, is a pleasure to work with and make us feel comfortable from the first moment we set foot into the venue for a tour. Absolutely perfect! We had our wedding planned since 2019 and because of Covid it got pushed out until 2021. Allison and the rest of the staff who worked with us were so kind and helpful throughout the entire process. Our ceremony finally happened in October 2021 and it was a dream. This venue is so beautiful and its all inclusive!! The only vendors you need to book for your wedding is your photographer and MUA. My husband and I found them about three months before our wedding date 05-20-2021 and they made our dream wedding come true! We had a party of 28 and only celebrated for 3 hours. They are amazing! They surpassed our expectation and brought to life all of our ideas for the wedding reception. The venue itself is beautiful, but once it was decorated and set up everything looked amazing and most important it represented us. They were extremely accommodating, which I loved! The team did a spectacular job communicating with us leading to our big day and the day of the wedding. Trina was great helping us with appointments, timeline and everything leading up to the big day. Malia & Courtney did an amazing job as the day of coordinator, they took care of any issues that occur during my party. I was able to enjoy every single minute of my party, thanks to them taking care of everything. My guest kept commenting that the food was delicious and savory, specially the bourbon chicken. Something that really stuck with me was that after my husband & I walked into the venue did our first dance and finally sat down, someone immediately came to our groom & bride table and brought us a plate. Beautiful location and great staff! Went in a day early to make some arrangements and saw a mini chapel set up for a wedding and the table arrangement was wonderful. I was then really excited to see what the reception hall for the wedding would look like for us. We were blown away. Absolutely beautiful and the staff did everything to ensure everyone there was well taken care. We had a buffet dinner and they had everything and got everyone through so quick it was awesome. Having attended two events here as a guest, I can say there was no expense spared in developing this venue. The attention to detail is imbeccable and the design classy beyond what Modesto has seen before. The staff and management are professional and are invested in presenting the best experience to their guests. Our wedding was this past May. I booked the venue sight unseen. The pictures and reviews from other people were enough to convince me. The inside is beautiful, rustic and charming. You really don't need much to decorate because it is perfect already but decor and design come with your package and the choices are amazing. Draping, up lights, farm house tables, fill in furniture, the whole 9 yards! Erin and her team run like a well oiled machine. It's like they can all read your mind and just know exactly what you want. We only had our Reception here and Erin worked out a package that fit our budget and guest count. I can't say enough about this venue and the team, everything was perfect and our guests absolutely loved it. The venue, the staff, and the whole experience is AMAZING!! My brand new wife and I are writing this review together because we are one now.... duh! Haha! Seriously though, we could not be happier with how everything turned out. Our wedding was 300 people and there was plenty of room to visit, converse, and dance. From the very beginning, Erin was hands on and introduced us to her team and we got to know everybody; especially Noelani - who helped us out the entire process. We were so nervous because we knew the stresses of having a huge wedding but there was absolutely no stress because Erin's crew is, like I said, AMAZING! We used Sounds In Motion as our DJ, which I would highly recommend as well. The dance floor was bumpin all night. Our families like to dance so having a good DJ was very important to us. This review is long over due! We had our wedding in August of this year at The Century. With just under 9 months the wonderful team assisted us in planning our beautiful wedding. They made it a very smooth and stress free process! The first few months included a quick meeting or two and once we were just a few months away from wedding day we organized all the small details. With everything that they do provide it makes the entire wedding process feel effortless. They have a few requirements or suggestions to utilize preferred vendors they have and I can certainly understand why. Those vendors are familiar with the venue and have experience setting up at the location so they know exactly what to expect and what they need in order to provide the best of there service possible. From the beginning to the end they were just an email, text, or call away. They made sure everything was perfect on our wedding day. Everyone was also so sweet and took the time to make sure my husband and I were doing OK. There are many wedding venues out there. However, there are not many that has a team that works so well and treat their clients and their guests with kindness and great customer service. Not to mention, our limo cancelled on us few days before the wedding and we couldn't find one last minute that will transport 15-20 people. We told Erin our issue and she went above and beyond. Given the pandemic, we decided on the new and popular micro-wedding as we did not want to further delay our wedding. As if things weren't challenging enough, we chose to get married in the month of February, when it's cold and usually rains. We had to find a venue that was Covid compliant and somehow still kept us protected from the outdoor elements and this was it. The Century wedding venue came up with a micro-wedding package at their location next door called Nine3One. Communication was great, all of our multiple inquiries, concerns and doubts were always responded to in a timely manner. Allison was our main contact person and she was always very pleasant to speak to even when we felt a little lost and anxious. It was hard for me to put into words what I wanted the setup to look like as far as the decorations, but let me tell you, they far exceeded our expectations. Everything was absolutely beautiful. My family said it was the best wedding food they had ever had, and our cake was so good we will return on our anniversary to order another. Allison took control of the flow of things during the whole event and it was nothing less than perfect. If we had the opportunity to do this again with any venue we would definitely still choose The Century. I don't know many people who can honestly say that their wedding day was perfect and went as planned, but I can! Thank you to all of the staff at The Century for making this happen for us. We just had our wedding on 5/21/2016. The Century is truly a gem in the town of Modesto. When I first told everyone about my wedding venue, they always asked me "Why Modesto???" because I lived in Elk Grove, CA. I told them I fell in love with the beautiful hard wood floors, brick walls, and endless chandeliers. Beyond the outer beauty that captivates me, what impressed me the most are Erin and her staff's passion for ensuring that every bride and groom has a stress free wedding day. Throughout the wedding process, Erin always answered all of my wedding questions... even the ones in which I asked her to measure tables so I could get sizing for my custom table skirts. When I was starting to feel the pressure of wedding planning, she said this to me, "Don't feel bad to ask me for help. It's my job to do this and I can help." She coordinated my rehearsal dinner at her venue to make it easy on my guests. Her staff Derek never complained at all when we had him run up and down multiple times to the flower storage room.
