Every time they gave me an approximate date, that date would go by and no one would get back to me. Then I would call again, and get no response. Finally someone called me back and said "based on my review (I assume on Yelp) they have decided I should go somewhere else for therapy". All I was ever asking for was that someone keep me posted on the timeline for expecting to be assigned a therapist. I was told one thing, and then that changed to another time, and then that date passed. When a prospective therapy client is in urgent need of help, that is no way to treat them (by rejection). I may have been impatient, but also I think CIP should improve its communication with its prospective clients. After all the cost share fee (mine was $45) is still alot of money if you pay weekly. I think CIP is very unprofessional, and cares more about their organization and their interns and staff than about the people they serve, who they also charge for services

She is warm, focused, and invested in her patients' healing. She uses EMDR which is necessary/helpful when dealing with trauma. It can be a frightening process, but helps get to the heart of what's causing the trauma. I always felt safe in her care, and would recommend her to anyone looking for some really deep therapy. A couple things to note: be sure to review her cancellation policy. And she did not accept my insurance, so treatment can hit your wallet pretty hard. But it's worth it.

Dr. Daniel did a lot of pricy and questionable testing and put me on 41 pills a day of either supplements or prescription medicine. I developed a concerning medical condition I'd never had before that made me feel sicker than ever, requiring me to stop eating many foods, and made me so fatigued, all I could do was lie on the couch most days for months. It was miserable. I finally got fed up with her after the second time she raised her prices significantly during the pandemic and fired her. I had spent tens of thousands of dollars on her appointments, testing and supplements. I immediately went off of everything she had prescribed and felt so much better within two weeks. My health has been just fine since I stopped following her advice 18 months ago. She may have a lot of five-star Yelp reviews but read them closely - few mention good medical outcomes from working with Dr. Daniel. That's because she gives her patients a discount on supplements in exchange for Yelp reviews which they write at the beginning of their treatment before they have any outcomes. This practice is unethical and should be illegal. Note to Dr. Daniel: When you attempt to rebut my review, be sure not to violate HIPAA.

I saw Dr Robin when I was a teen (15-17). She was awful. I was suicidal as a teen, and in fact,…read moretried to kill myself twice, and yet intuitively I knew it wasn't emotionally safe to discuss this with Dr Robin, so I didn't. She always always talked about herself in session. Because I was so young and she was the only therapist I had ever had, I didn't know any better, and thought it was "normal" to feel worse after therapy, not better. After I graduated from high school and was forced to find a new therapist down in southern california, where I was attending college, that's only when I realized just how fucked up my "therapy" with Dr Robin was. Dr Robin is a shining example in my mind why we should NOT dismiss or poo poo life coaches and healers just because they aren't LCSW/PhDs/PsyD's or whatever qualification you feel is legit, and how "trained and qualified" individuals, such as Dr Robin (who is a PhD) can truly cause great harm.
