I'm extremely happy with the care I've received for my 3 children from the doctors here. I love that they have in house specialists. Dr. Marconi is my children's primary. Sometimes we have to wait a bit past our appointment time, but I truly feel it's because she takes the time to answer every one of your questions without making you feel like she is in a rush to get to her next patient. I will gladly wait an extra 10 mins to get quality care for my children. I have also seen the sleep specialist who is an absolute miracle worker! And we've seen the asthma/allergy specialist. The nurses here are also wonderful as well as the urgi care staff. Everyone here takes the time to get to know you and your children and I completely trust them with my children's health. read more

We recently moved to Norwalk, and our insurance policy gave us this office as a pediatrician option. I called multiple times to ask basic questions--how to register and what documents to bring--but no one ever answered. I left several voicemails and never received a callback. I decided to go in person, filled out all the paperwork, and left my son's medical records as requested. I was told they would call me within two weeks to schedule an appointment after uploading everything into their system. I waited, but after two weeks--nothing. I called again, left more voicemails, still no response. I went back to the office, and the front desk gave me a card with a specific contact person. I called that number with the extension, left voicemails, and even sent an email--again, no response at all. It felt like we were completely ignored. After waiting about a month with no communication, I went back to retrieve my son's medical records so I could find another provider. Instead of trying to resolve the issue or help move things forward, they seemed more than happy to hand the papers back and move on. That was very disappointing. I then found a different office, and the experience was completely opposite--they called me back the same day and scheduled both pediatric and dental appointments for the following week, quickly and easily. This office has been one of the worst experiences I've had in terms of communication. The lack of response from the front desk and staff made it impossible to get even basic care started. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for reliable and responsive pediatric care. read more

Tried to do "Zero" for star rating. I am so sad to see how this practice has steadily declined over the recent years. Daughter and I just checked in for a well visit and nurse was so rude and abrasive. So bizarre and unlike anything I've ever experienced. In addition to the poor treatment, the place looks like a war-zone. Office is in the midst of construction (This is the third location change in ten years mind you), dirty floors, holes in walls, I feel like i'm in a clinic in a third world country. Glad we have aged out but having had all three of my kids here since birth for over 21 years it's pretty shocking and hopefully not the norm. I can't imagine being a new parent here with so many regular visits. If you are considering this practice definitely look around before settling here. There has to be better options out there. I am honestly surprised by the negative reviews! My son has been a patient for 5 years now. The only issue I've ever encountered was during walk in urgicare, the receptionist, who I never saw before, was extremely rude. Prior to covid, we had to go to urgicare, and had no issues so I believe it has gone slightly downhill with covid. However, the nurses/doctors are fantastic!!! read more

Brought my 1 yo daughter in to get checked as a walk in. She had a high fever, refused eating and vomited on me just hours before. I waited for 5 minutes before the receptionist (Joanne) would even acknowledge me. She was not even on a call. Then I had to wait for everyone and their dog to get checked, including everyone who just walked in randomly. Not so urgent care... doesn't seem they care at all. The nurses are fine. They have always been. The admin staff needs to level up. Very disappointed. Utterly unprofessional. Stay away. read more

I have brought my 2 year old son to TCFAP since birth and have nothing but good things to say. As soon as you check in at the front desk you feel welcomed. All the providers are so kind to my son and treat him with the best care possible. I love that they have a pediatric urgent care for when you need a last minute appointment. read more

Recently, I scheduled a telehealth appointment for my daughter at Advanced Pediatrics.  Octavia, one of the front desk staff, scheduled the appointment.  She was very pleasant and thorough explaining to me how to do a telehealth appointment which I had never done before.  I also appreciated  that she could schedule the appointment for later that day.  I have been bringing my children to Advanced Pediatrics since they were born and highly recommend them. read more

Our twins are 21 months old and we've been with TCFAP since they were born. The doctors here - both our regular pediatrician and those we see at Urgi-Kids - are professional, caring, and accessible. Their online message portal is a great way to get in touch with questions or concerns. They are thorough in their exams and monitoring our children's development, but not alarmist; they take good care of me as a mom too. Negative reviews about cost and long waits are driven by frustration, and true at any doctor these days. I'd highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a pediatrician! read more

This is the worst place imaginable for your child. Don't be fooled by the new office. Most times when I bring my two young children in, with an appointment, the wait to actually see the doctor is a minimum of 45 minutes to an hour and the doctor makes no apologies for her tardiness. She is also a managing partner. More importantly she refused to give my child a standard blood test for Celiacs, claiming that it was not useful and was against her practice. Because of her lack of knowledge and professionalism, I had to bring my child to another pediatrician who immediately ordered the standard blood test without me saying a word. As a result, my child had to have 7 tubes of blood taken and was incredibly upset. I have never met a doctor so ignorant to Celiac disease and unwilling to help a parent take the first steps to helping her suffering child. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

Utterly Incapable of handling twin families. Working moms beware. We have been with TCFAP since the boys were born (9 months). We have been considering leaving for a few months now after the following things have occurred but delayed because we liked our doctor (who is now leaving). But after today, looking elsewhere: - Two times data inaccuracies were put into the boy charts. Both times, doctor comes in a says "Wow, one boy grew 4lbs! Oh the other must have some work to do, he only grew 1/2 lb" (they're identical twins) and the second time they thought one of their heads shrunk (inches). We seriously questioned each time they brought the shots in after this whether they were giving them the right thing. - 3 hour (with 6 month old twins) appointment for a monthly check up, had to wait an hour for shots to be prepared even though we were first patients of the morning. - Took time off work to bring my babes in first thing for an Urgi care visit, both presenting with 102 fever. One twin shows an ear infection, other ones does not. Doctor prescribes antibiotics as precaution for one and advises if fever spikes, to give the antibiotics. Other child ends up with 103+ fever all night screaming in pain grabbing ear, we give that child antibiotics as well. Call in the morning to see if they can fill a prescription for other twin. DO NOT HEAR BACK. I call at the end of the day to see if they have filled the prescription, they say they cannot do it over the phone and that I have bring the babies back in? At the end of the day, when I am at work .... I'm a working mom in NYC and cannot deal with the ridiculousness of this place, especially when I take the time off to bring my babes in. Highly highly recommend looking elsewhere. read more

Dr. Marconi should not be in practice. Her ethnics are horrid and she should can not spearhead a practice. Would not recommend her to treat my children ever. Her practice downright lied to me when asked where two of her "employees" went to. No other doctor, nurse, assistant should be treated the way she treats her staff. read more

I gave the one star for the doctors. They are the only reason why I stayed. It was hard to get appointments at the Ridgefield office and when I had appointments they would call to move them. Eventually the Ridgefield location was closed. Not driving 45 min to Norwalk. The charge you $40 per kid for their online records, which is crazy and I have never heard of. Also if you leave their practice good luck trying to get your child's records without paying an arm and a leg. $20 for a cd for my kids records? Nickel and dime everything. read more

Save yourself the trouble and go literally anywhere else. They try to lure you into the practice with all these specialists in house and the new parent classes and their fancy office etc. but it's really not a good place for your child. I waited for two hours with my sick baby to be seen and no one even apologized. I've never waited less than 45 minutes. The doctors spend about 5 minutes with you and make you feel foolish when you ask questions. No two doctors will give you the same advice. Really just an overall terrible experience. read more

My kids are patients of Dr. Anwar. She has been great every time we have to come in. Sometimes, it's hard to make contact with anyone in the office but overall, very happy with Doctor. Have been using patient portal and get response fairly quick. read more

Had an awful experience here, borderline negligence on their part. Treat their patients like cattle. Mary does the rounds marketing the practice and trying to lure in new patients, makes it sound great but don't be fooled. Extremely difficult to actually be seen by a doctor, as they first make you meet with a nurse or assistant and in many cases you will find yourself waiting a long time afterwards before the doctor comes. Mediocre customer service with quite long waiting times on the phone. read more

I absolutely LOVE this office and my sons doctor!! There were some special circumstances with my sons case that I know some people would have judgements because of, so I was very careful to speak in depth with the doctor before he'd been born to make sure this wouldn't happen and she was amazing!! Every time he goes in to see her she is so amazing and sweet and he adores her as well!!! Also, I love the "patient portal" they have for any small questions you have so you can just message your doctor!! When he first started to eat baby cereals and puréed foods they even gave him his own special spoon from their office!! I've recommended them to a few friends already and they love it as much as we do here!!! Also, the Urgi Kids center is another awesome feature, that way even on a Saturday if you need to be seen but don't have an appointment scheduled already you can still bring your child to be seen!!! read more

The Center for Advanced Pediatrics outsources everything. You will not be able to speak with anyone to schedule an appointment, but will have to leave a message for a callback (which will then come who knows when, and you will miss the call). Billing is handled by some outfit in Vermont, so if you have a question you will be in eternal limbo while the Vermont subsontractor calls the Center for Advanced Pediatrics, and no one responds to you. I called nine times and wrote once about a single bill and still do not have a resolution. read more
