A pleasant neighbourhood restaurant on the edge of the city centre in Magdalen Road, a nice change from the bustle of the new Princesshay restaurants. Small but nicely laid out on two levels with an airy and bright conservatory at the back.
Good wine list with a fair number of new world wines at prices from £14. Varied menu and good standard of cooking. Good choice of meat and fish courses with veggie options. Starters good value from £5-7. Main courses a little pricy at up to £20+. Service is good and friendly. Parking if you are lucky just across the road about 50 metres away or dow one of the local side streets. Music in the background but a quiet place for a romantic meal rather than the hustle and bustle of the city centre restaurants. Definitely worth a visit. read more
