I imagined her making brownies, popcorn, having a BBQ and not turning off the grill afterwards. Carried away-then I remembered this is Molly, our favorite cat, and prepared to have someone else in our messy house. The manager "Mollie" was very organized. We, were very detailed. I organized food in one cabinet, with post-its for info, post-it where her room litterbox was after already giving info to the manager I think it helped make things simpler. We started getting daily reports, with "basics" box checked. They were thorough, precise, and complete. My Dad worked for Polaroid for 20 years, and these pet sitters were awesome at taking pictures. Every day we'd open up the emails and this noise would come out of our mouths: not ooh! Yecch! But...: Awwww, look at how cute she looks. Her wariness and caution as a cat showed, but her shyness rounded the corner a bit. Sitter4paws let us take a long vacation worry free at what we thought were reasonable prices, for a truly truly worry free vacation. Great communicators, responsible, and reliable, and awesome photographers. Thank you!

I will never use them again after my TERRIBLE experience. Initially used this service for a short business trip with success so tried again for a longer trip to see family between Christmas and NYE. The company sent a sitter I had never met who incorrectly used the pill injector on my sick, elderly cat and forced her to swallow the over inch-long applicator tip. Resulted in $3,000 emergency vet surgery to remove that I had to manage from out of town. So deeply stressful for me but mainly my poor elderly asthmatic cat!! They handled it but SO unnecessary and only happened bc of their bizarre business model where they pick whichever of their employees are available, not someone who knows your house/pet. So if you get one who knows what they're doing you don't necessarily get them again - it's totally random from the customer's perspective. Instead of enjoying my family I had to spend the time managing the emergency they created from afar, stressed and fuming that I trusted this company to send someone competent to care for my sweet older cat. After the first disastrous pill delivery issue they sent the **same person** again a day later who clearly doesn't know how to give a cat medication and she, again, incorrectly gave my cat her medication!!! My cat gets ill if she misses just one day, the medication is a high-dose steroid for her asthma. The employee did not know how to give her the pill, but still marked the medication as administered on their form (I only figured out it didn't happen when I read the notes) and instead of giving her the pill rubbed it on her gums -?!? I am FURIOUS for my poor cat and at the incompetence of this employee they continue to use, along with the management that assured me they know how to give cats medication and yet still sent this individual out after it was proved that they cannot give a cat medication effectively. The other employees seemed to be ok but I had no choice over who they sent over, meaning every visit was a gamble. If you need anything beyond the most basic service, avoid avoid avoid!!!

I had never hired someone to come in and care for my cat before while we were away so I was a very apprehensive about everything. However, Kylie was amazing, professional, and took such excellent care of Loki while we were away. From the moment I met with her for the consult she was so kind and put me at ease. While we were away she was amazing and it really gave us piece of mind that our family member was taken care of. I had previously tried the pet walking apps out there and found inconsistent results, plus it was difficult to get the same person all the time. The whole experience just really did not leave me confident in hiring someone to walk my dog. But When I started using Fire Hydrant pet sitting , that all changed. Since I had such a great experience with this company when they watched Loki, I began using them to walk my dog Obi and have been using them regularly since. Kylie's team can handle big strong dogs without a problem and are great at reinforcing the proper obedience techniques that we have tried to teach our dog to have. Kylie and her team are amazing and go above and beyond. You can tell that they are true animal lovers and enjoy what they do. They come and walk Obi 4 times a week (even during the pandemic). This has been a game changer for our big dog that needs lots of exercise. I love that he gets to participate in pack walks sometimes, and Obi loves his time with his doggy friends. I will never use anyone else again, and tell everyone I know about this wonderful company. Kylie and her team are hands down the best. If you are not sure, give them a try and you will not be disappointed. It can be hard to trust someone with your fur babies, but don't worry, they have you covered.

I've been wanting to write this review for almost a year, and I finally got around to it because I…read morewill never forget what Sunshine Veterinary Care did for my dog Sandy. When I adopted Sandy from the shelter, she was extremely sick. I took her to another clinic, and the doctor told me that she was so sick that she was probably going to die and that I should consider returning her to the shelter. I left that place heartbroken and devastated, but I knew I wasn't going to give up on Sandy. I started searching everywhere for another veterinarian, and it was so difficult to find one that could see her. Then I found Sunshine Veterinary Care. They didn't have any openings that day, but they made an exception and found a way to see Sandy. I will forever be grateful for that. Doctor Z told me Sandy had about a 50/50 chance of making it. He and his amazing staff did everything they could for her, and two days later, it felt like Sandy came back to life. Today, I'm incredibly grateful that I didn't give up on her and that I found Sunshine Veterinary Care. Doctor Z and his entire team treated Sandy with so much care, compassion, and dedication. Thank you, Sunshine Veterinary Care, for saving my girl and giving us more time together. I will always be grateful for everything you did for Sandy. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic to anyone looking for people who truly care about their patients.

I've brought my dog here twice, once for a wellness exam and the other for a vaccine. The first time I think I waited about 30 minutes since the vet was in surgery according to the front desk, which is fine, except it felt like our appointment was super rushed. He quickly looked at my pup and was about to end the visit before I asked if we could get labs done and ask him a few questions about my concerns. He didn't once ask me if I had any concerns, just said she looked good. I thought it was strange that he didn't suggest labs considering she was a new patient. My dog was 10 years old at the time, so labs should have been suggested considering she is a senior. Anyways, they ended up giving me a discount because of the wait. However I don't think that should have meant a discount in quality of care too? My biggest gripe is the lack of communication. Every vet I've taken my dog to has given me an update when labs come back (typically through a message in the online portal), even if they're all good, and the labs are quickly uploaded onto the online portal so I can see it. Sunshine vet has an online portal that they seem to not use. After waiting 2 weeks after getting my dogs labs done, I hadn't heard from the doctor so I had to call and ask for the results. Additionally, the doctors notes were not uploaded or given to me, so I called for that a few months after the visit and although it had been months, they did not have the notes on hand. I ended up having to ask again a few days later before they sent them to me. That also does not give me confidence in them since they don't have their patient's records readily available. Another huge drawback is that they charge a tech fee for shots. I space out my dogs shots so it's completely unreasonable for me to pay an additional $20(? can't remember the exact fee but it was somewhere around there) every time I take her in for a shot. Overall, a strange experience that did not make me feel comfortable. I expect good communication and documents to be accessible at the bare minimum.
