Rude owner .Not consistent with hours being open .After I did research this happened to others also . March 2020 Looked up The Canalside Cup last night, drove out there and it was closed! Why does it advertise it is open at 1900 when in fact they are closed. It was a 20 minute+ drive for it to be closed. It's cool if they are not open for the season yet but don't advertise your open when you're clearly not! read more

Old fashioned 1950's style drive up Cup! It's as good as it gets! Awesome soft serve and also hard ice cream, appetizers, hamburgers and hot dogs. Seasonal business so closed during the winter. Great place to take the whole family!!! read more

He got a cherry flavored scoop and he said it was actually the best ice cream he had ever had. Bold claim, I'll say! I pondered upon the prices briefly afterwards. It was $6 and change for the 2 scoops. Though small, I think the price was very fair and it made me think that in and around NYC, it would probably cost close to double. This is a small critique and very trivial, but I didn't like either the cups or the spoons they use. The cups were styrofoam (no branding of any kind) and the plastic spoons were weirdly..... deep? (not sure if that makes sense, fully; for example, when they gave a sample, it was huge sample on one of those little spoons that are almost flat and very easy to scoop.)
