Amazing stop! I've been meaning to stop here for the longest and I finally did. I'm so happy. Not too many places have rum raisin ice cream so when I saw it was on the menu of course I ordered it! In addition to ice cream, they do have burgers and cheesesteaks and other items from the grill. I chose to order the cheesesteak and cheese fries. I must admit the cheesesteaks exceeded my expectations. It was tasty and flavored well and the bread was super soft. The staff was friendly and helped me decide whether I should get a couple or cone which I got both.. There isn't that much of an ambience. There are some tables and benches outside for you to eat or you can sit in your car miniature golf was next-door, but I think they closed down the course a few years ago. Everything looked overgrown. Overall, l give this place an 8/10, I most likely will return. read more

Best Ice cream in Phillipsburg. So much delicious flavors. If you're in the area you should definitely try their ice cream.

Cassock gate ice cream is the best. I love going there every summer when it's open. I love it.

This is only for the mini golf course. This is a fun but small mini golf course. The course is in rough shape in some parts and could use some new AstroTurf on the holes. However the holes still work and nothing is falling apart like I have seen at some courses. The course is relatively flat with slight elevation changes on some holes. There are plenty of water features on the holes and there are fountains and a waterfall. This is a pretty short and quick mini golf course to play, you can be in and out in 30 min for two people and the skill level is pretty easy. It is also pretty cheap compared to some of the other courses in the area, only $6 a person. Overall a good but well worn golf course in the Phillipsburg area. Can you find a better course by driving for a bit, yes, but if you are looking for something close by this will work. I would not travel a distance to play this course. read more

Top 5 hard ice cream picks ever. Almond Joy ice cream. Chopped almonds, toasted coconut, lovely crunch through it. I will add Hershey's canned chocolate syrup with whipped cream and cherry next time. Really good. I don't think this is made in premises but I could be wrong. The prices are high ($4.35 med cup with no toppingsm) when you compare to supermarket ice cream, but the flavor and texture was amazing and well worth it. Don't be fooled by the small container - this ice cream is not whipped full of air like the supermarket brands. I thought it would be easy to finish off, but it did take some time. Denser with much more body than store brands. So much better than the national ice cream company nearby at the same cost. Tables outside and the little diner inside appears to be open for seating. read more

Been here twice. The first time I got a soft serve. It was just ok. Not creamy, more milky. And they were chintzy with sprinkles. I mean, that stuff matters! The next time I went, I decided against the soft serve & got a Death By Chocolate. Again, not fatty in flavor. The mix-ins of their DBC was minimal & one bite led into the next. I've been to other places where you could distinguish what mix-in was what. One plus is that the kids size is quite larger than others in the area. But of course, prices are larger too. Staff was ok. Place is cute with the mini-golf and all but I'll skip the ice cream. read more

I would give it 0 stars if I could. The first young girl that waited on us was very sweet. The older two ladies handing out the ice cream were miserable. I asked for an ice cream on a cone and she handed me a bowl. All I said was I asked for a cone and she literally scoffed at me and rolled her eyes. I was not mean about it at all. I just wanted a cone. Due to her awful customer service skills I told her to just forget it I would take the bowl. I will say the cherry vanilla ice cream was good. My son had the death by chocolate and it was not good. My daughter had the coconut which she loves but did not like their coconut. We will definitely not be going back just because of the nasty ladies behind the counter. Beware. Everyone has a bad day but both ladies? Really? I'll stick to ohwowcow and bank street creamery for now on. read more

The ice cream is consistently very delicious; we have never been disappointed when it comes to quality and taste! I only give three stars, however, because the service is consistently very slow (often resulting in very long lines). The ice cream stand could be run much more smoothly by efficiently utilizing the two windows: one window used to take orders and payments for incoming customers and one window to hand out completed orders. An additional staff member might help with efficiency, too, when it comes to preparing the ice cream orders in a timely manner. That's my main constructive criticism. Other than that, the ice cream is tasty and the service is friendly. Prices are so-so; they seem a little on the high-side, but it could just be the area. I'd love to see military and first responder discounts! read more

Up until now my biggest gripe with this place is they never have enough help. ( they really should take a trip to polar cub to see how it should be done!!). Service was very pleasant but one of our shakes was not nearly mixed enough. Our food was awful!!! Our French fries and mozzarella sticks were terrible! They tasted like old burnt mixed flavored oil. I was mad at myself for paying $18 for two snacks and two drinks that we couldn't eat read more

The best ice cream in the area, and judging from the line there I think alot of others feel the same. Cool mini golf here too. Great place to play a mini golf game and get some ice cream after, makes me feel like I am on vacation with the kids for a bit, lol. read more

Awesome ice cream, friendly staff. Great for cones or pints to take home with you! The mini golf course is also fun for the whole fam

Good ice cream, lots of people come get ice cream. The mini golf is cute, basic with water fountain course. The food however is pretty horrible. read more

The reason my review is low only because the soft serve ice cream (which was my favorite) is more like custard now. Basically tastes like Rita's. I used to love castle gate for the soft serve, but not anymore now that it's more like custard. Disappointing. read more

My boyfriend and I wanted ice cream at 8pm on a Sunday and we went online and checked the time they are open until, which is 9pm, and when we got there at 8:10 I asked the guy through the window if they were still open and he rudely shook his head no. I'm sorry but if you close at 9pm and then actually close at 9pm and don't be rude to a potentially paying customer. read more

Love this place! Amazing chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream and chocolate peanut butter ice cream. So excited they added food options to their menu as well. In the summer, I go here at least once a week. read more

I was a loyal customer until this evening. Ordered two waffle sandwiches to go (one with two scoops of butter pecan and one with one scoop of strawberry and scoop of vanilla) All I got was dried out burnt waffles (one half eaten or broken off not sure which) and incorrect ice cream for one of the sandwiches. Spent $12 for a horrible dessert! Spoke to staff before leaving about waffle issues and no offer to fix the situation was provided, Very disappointed. Have been loyal customer for three years not sure if I will return read more
