Turner's 6 Week Challenge is a great program for jumpstarting a healthier lifestyle. I was so out of the habit of cooking my own meals, but the meal plan and recipe book helped me get back into the groove of preparing my own meals, and the dishes are actually good and there's variety (i.e. you're not meal-prepping chicken, broccoli and rice). The workouts/gym/trainers are great too. I've never been into high-intensity anything, so honestly, I'm shocked that I love it so much lol it's a great community and the trainers are really down to earth and friendly (i.e. no screaming in your face, no guilt trips, etc.). They're not breathing down your neck and micro-managing you when it comes to making it to the gym. They give you the space to be responsible for yourself which is much more my style. The specific instances that have really made this a five-star review for me: - I sprained my ankle at the gym at the end of week 3 and they handled it very professionally. The trainer (LiErin) stopped everything, ran and grabbed me an ice pack immediately and offered to drive me to the urgent care herself. I was worried about where this would put me in the challenge and how we would move forward, and Turner worked with me and we figured out a very proactive solution that made me comfortable. I came back to class with a boot on and the trainers customized each movement for me so that we were focusing on back/upper body. At the end of my challenge, which I was on through the holidays AND with a sprained ankle, I lost 10 pounds. I'm still super proud of that progress with all things considered. - The way they've handled the Coronavirus. The gym is closed but Turner and his team are sharing at-home workouts and even Facebook Live Streaming workouts. It's clear that they're still focused on their members getting their workouts in a safe way, and I'm really impressed by that. All in all, this is a great small business gym that is really easy to weave into your routine and lifestyle :)

I enjoy being apart of a class, where you have your own space & aren't fighting for the 'good shit'. When it's not all, running fast as you can & burpees... although burpees, happen. The stations change often & most of the time, it's an unfamiliar movement, thus boredom isn't an issue. Excited for the day, we use the tires. Long story short- give this gym a chance. Level up!!

One great perk they offer for new clients is that if you pay for one session, you get a free week of bootcamp classes. Our trainer, Shannon, was excellent! Since I hadn't trained in a while and wasn't in the best shape, she took the time to demonstrate each exercise before having me complete the reps. The facility is well-equipped, with a large training area and dedicated equipment space. What sets Steadfast apart from traditional gyms is its structured and supportive training approach. Luckily, I found Park Cities Pilates and have been going at least once a week for the past 5 years. The trained and professional teachers work with me to achieve my evolving fitness goals and continue to push me to improve. Each work out is fresh and I'm constantly learning new things that keep me working hard (the soreness the next day confirms it!). Park Cities Pilates teachers are experienced with clients of all ages and body types, so no matter what your circumstance, you are sure to get a work out that is beneficial to your individual body and lifestyle. The studio is bright, clean and comfortable. The teachers are very personable, have a knack for making you feel at ease, and are there to support you. They are very patient and knowledgeable when asked questions about Pilates and the way your body functions/moves in general. I think that is a huge benefit in something like Pilates, where the smallest tweak in the way you are doing an exercise makes all the difference! The teachers are always able to explain why we do things the way we do, and where I should feel the "burn". The prices are reasonable, too, and they even have packages to save you money on a per-lesson basis. I have been extremely pleased with my lessons and my progress in pilates, and will continue to take lessons as often as I can!

My son in California started researching Pilates studios in Dallas and called to tell me Park Cities was where I needed to go. I talked to a close friend that I knew went there and called to make an appointment. I have recently had knee replacement surgery and have been told that I am at a level of recovery that most people do not see until 6 weeks or more. I attribute much of this to the Pilates that I have learned and practice from my patient and caring instructor Amy Smith. Over the years I have often worked with many of the other instructors and would not hesitate to recommend any and all of them.

That was over a month ago, and I haven't been able to stop going. I never thought I'd be someone who actually looked forward to the gym. But in such a short time, I've felt a real shift. My body is stronger, yes--but the bigger change has been in my mind. Showing up, pushing through, and doing the work has helped me face fears I didn't even realize I was carrying. It's been grounding, empowering, and healing in ways I didn't expect. This gym isn't just about workouts--it's about growth.
