I normally buy my meat at Cramers, but they were closed, so I decided to try Wordens, I ask the…read moregirl at the check out counter which was there tenderest steak, she recommended "new york strip steaks" taking her word, I bought 4 to the tune of $70.00 I grilled 2 for my wife and I and they were tough to say the least, I ended up feeding nearly all of the 2 to my cats. I prepped the other 2 by working them over with my hand held meat tenderizing tool and added some sprinkle on meat tenderizer as well. The other 2 were even tougher than the first 2, instead of giving my cats another 30+ dollars worth of steak, I used my hand crank grinder and ground the steaks into "taco meat" I normally use hambuger meat for tacos, it's way cheaper.
