I have 2.5 acres in both Nashville and Jupiter Farms. i do all of my own landscape and hardscape in both places. The Bushel Stop is by far my favorite place to shop. The folks there are so friendly, informative, knowledgeable and the prices are very fair. I always get outstanding service from the front desk to the yard workers. This place has everything you could ever want EXCEPT CUSTOMER SERVICE. We purchased some boulders for our garden here .. but the guys who were going to get the rocks we wanted were lazy & never acknowledged us. When we got there these 2 guys were sitting on chairs looking at their phones .. then I had the audacity to get them off their butts to retrieve the rocks we needed .. no smiles .. no greeting .. just damn rude. I'll pay for great customer service .. when they make me feel like I am appreciated it goes a long ways with me .. but this place .. with all they have .. will never get another dime from me. read more

These guys just made me load several hundred pounds of concrete by myself while they sat there and watched. Worst Service ever. Then I drive around to the other section of steppingstones. ok, so I've beeen there twice, the second time to really look over there perennial plants. well, much to my surprise they have a wonderful selection. Varoius sizes of same plant, but best thing is their prices actually are in many cases cheaper the other box stores/ nurseries in the Jupiter area. if I had more room on my property id be back in a heartbeat to find plants that are different/ unique. am I planning another trip to them- YEP. Terrible customer service! loader operator doesn't speak English and wants to sit there and yell at you in Spanish. When you say something to Lee the manager she cops an attitude with you as well. That's fine. You could take your overpriced material and shove it where the Sun don't shine. Learn English this is America. read more

The stars are for the selection & layout of products; it's easy to understand what's full sun or shade, etc., and there is lots of choice for rocks, planters, seats, decor, etc. However, you MUST know what you want and about plants before you go here. Make no mistake, customer service is not their business. Plenty of staff around but they do not speak English and the ones who do speak English are tucked inside by the register & have no interest in helping you with height, design or choices for your yard. Like most businesses in these crazy times, the friendliness just isn't there. They look too busy to be bothered and faces have an attitude that they expect some sort of fight. Terrible customer service! Place wasn't busy but couldn't find someone to help me with my landscape selections. Finally, after walking around, I saw a worker, but unfortunately, there was a language barrier and got nothing accomplished. A frustrating experience! Really floored by the comments here. So much so that I went back to make sure reviews were for the Jupiter location. I have been a customer there for over 10 years and have nothing but great things to say about the counter staff. So much so that I took the time to learn both Lee and Destiny's name. As far as the yard staff most are English as a second language and are there to load product once it's purchased. In the interest of full disclosure I am not a huge customer, just a local Jupiter home owner who is in about four or five times a year doing home projects. There's a good selection of plants and plenty of workers to help load it in your car. The cashiers are not very nice though. They should hire cashiers that want to interface with customers. These ladies need some kindness training. read more

I have used the bushel stop for many years. The one consistent thing is the great service of the ground staff. After using many of their locations, pompano, Boynton Beach and Jupiter, The great service has always been superior and consistent. The negative with the bushel stop is their prices. They are charging 50% to 80% more than other quality nurseries in the area. A little bit of research and legwork you can save a lot of money on the same quality plan. Charging $50 for a 3 gallon small hedge plants, when a 7 gallon cost between $30-$35 a plant. The bushel stop is a wonderful nursery, but their prices need to come back to reality. After all the years of using them, they are now my last resort. read more

We recently bought a Chimenea from the JUPITER Bushel stop. We took it home, lit a fire, then a few more. After about 7 or 8 fires, the base separated. After one more fire, the side cracked. We took it back and were told you can only use one log at a time. This is not a small Chimenea! There were no warnings, instructions or helpful hints when we bought it. There were also no refunds, too bad or offers of exchange etc... We were only told, yea, only one log at a time after it was too late. This was $150 and didn't last too long. They were also less expensive at other outlets. read more

Stopped in yesterday to check the place out! Wow! Nice selection of planters, rocks, and plants! Very reasonable prices but what really shined was the great service from everyone there! I was greeted immediately and helped many times along the way! To start off the three stars are just for Mike, thank you for being helpful. The two girls that run this place have bad attitudes, they don't listen and talk to their employee's ugly. A mistake went into a berating of the employee for not doing a formula correctly in front of the customers, and they continued talking about it for several more minutes. An hour later we were contacted by one of the girls they didn't charge enough and they wrote down the wrong stone. The girls didn't take the time to help us, Mike was busy with a customer, while we were picking our stone so what we ordered was not what was delivered. We will not return. If you want to venture there, bypass the drama and go see Mike. He's a young kid with good customer service. read more

I too had a terrific experience while shopping at the Bushel Stop. Seldom does one find such knowledgeable employees as Destiney and Michael at any retail location but these two hit it out of the park! I was very impressed with their eagerness to be helpful, their pleasant personalities and their overall knowledge of plants and materials. I will make the Bushel Stop my go-to-place for plants, pots and outdoor deco because their employees are knowledgeable and provide terrific service to the customer.
