They do not honor their warranty and are using Covid as an excuse. Shop elsewhere. My water bottle is defective and now I'm stuck with it.

I would have loved to say that this place was wonderful but as for my experience it was everything…read moreBUT wonderful. I walked in today with a family member as we were given a list of items to purchase by my interior designer from This store . We walked in and there were two frames I absolutely loved, they were beach drift wood and framed, I said out loud " oh ! This would go perfect above my bedroom set that I purchased a week ago from RH. My family member said" oh ! I have a friend that makes something similar but for tables! She showed me a few pictures on her phone and jokingly said " I wonder if she could make something similar, she lifts her phone up, to take a pic, and I responded "no I actually LOVE these pieces ! I wonder if I could get two of the same piece to have four to fill my wall up! ". She said " oh ! Haha ok , ok , and I moved on looking for the pieces I originally came in for, (NO photo was taken ). At that very moment mind you we were NEVER welcomed in, No other customers in the store. Just the older gentleman working at this store . This gentleman fiercely rushes over and says with a short manner "no photos can be taken in the store" I responded with my soft voice " oh she didn't" with a smile , She was about to but she didn't. He responded " I find that hard to believe when her phone aimed at the light fixture and snap a shot and bought her hand down, as he was explaining with such a mean gesture and horrible attitude . He then continued to steer angrily at me directly as if I was lying and when I turned back he proceeded to share that my other person took a photo of some light fixture at the entrance.. funny thing was We never even looked at a light fixture, I said SIR! She did not, and it just became ridiculous. He proceeded to argue with me, never in my 39 years have I ever had anyone argue with me over something that could have gone smoother by saying ," ! HI ! Welcome in, just a kind reminder no photography of our store.. " I held my hands up palms out and said " Sir, clearly we are not welcomed here, we are leaving but she did not take any photos, quiet frankly this is gotten a bit absurd. He responded, "well yea ok I'll rewatch the footage of the cameras to verify If it's true.. ( I mean , how old are we ?? ) I laughed a bit because it was preposterous. My designer was there a few days ago working on a Large project for us on multiple Rooms and spoke to Shawn or maybe a Steven or both not sure on a name she gave me a large list of items to look at but we got opposite treatment. Not only were we practically forced out of this store on false accusation but I really felt discriminated, as if I couldn't afford anything in this store ( We can) . I know if I were Caucasian I am sure our treatment would have been different, clearly we were not welcomed. It felt like a pretty woman moment. We were NOT greeted, not given any kind reminder and just mistreated and harassed. No signage anywhere in the store( because I looked as we exited ) , looking for " no photography " . On top of that my designer was in a few days snapped a few photos to my husband and . The funniest part of all said and dine there is that YELP reviewer posted PHOTOS within the store on here!!, my family member didn't get that far of actually taking the photo ). I do not like confrontations it was hard for me to write this cause I'm a super nice person, but this needed to acknowledge, this isn't ok!!

Hallmark's history goes all the way back to 1907 as the Norfolk Post Card Company, founded by Joyce…read moreClyde Hall and his older brothers, William and Rollie. It operated out of the Norfolk, Nebraska bookstore the brothers worked at. In 1910, Joyce "J.C." Hall dropped out of high school and ventured to Kansas City, Mo. to sell wholesale postcards. In Kansas City, Hall could take advantage of the city's many rail connections to make quick sales trips to outlying towns. Soon business was booming and Rollie came to join his brother and they opened their own shop, Hall Brothers. In 1915, a fire destroyed the brothers shop and all of its inventory but they were able to take this set back and turn it into a success. The brothers took out a loan, bought an engraving company, and started creating unique designs they could market exclusively. As the postcard business waned they were poised to move into the new business of selling printed greeting cards for holidays. Another opportunity came for Hallmark when the company ran out of the traditional tissue paper that was used for wrapping gifts. Instead they started using French paper that had been purchased for lining envelopes. Demand for the paper was so great that Hallmark began printing their own paper and that is how wrapping paper was invented. The name Hallmark first appeared in 1925. It was chosen because it encompassed the family name while also stating quality. By 1928 it was on every card the Hall brothers' company sold and in 1954, Hall Brothers Inc. changed its name to Hallmark. Over 100 years later, the Hallmark company is still a private company, still in Kansas City, and still run by the Hall family. J.C. Hall's son Donald J. Hall is chairman of the Hallmark board and his son Donald Jr. is president and CEO of the company. There are both company and independently owned stores in five countries. Other fun facts: since 1984 Hallmark has owned Binney and Smith Inc the parent company of Crayola Crayons and they have produced more than 250 movies and taken home 81 Emmy's. As you might be able to tell I am a big Hallmark fan. Unfortunately many in the area have closed in recent years. That is why I was so happy to discover that there is still a Hallmark open in the Gardens Mall. I collect certain series of Hallmark ornaments and July is their debut month. Hallmark first introduced their ornaments in 1973 and their longest running series is Frosty and Friends which started in 1980. My first introduction to collecting was the 1984 pink Victorian that kicked off the Nostalgic Houses series and I have since gone on to collect many other series. I was so happy to be able to pick up this years Dream Book featuring all of the ornaments. I was less happy to see that prices continued to increase this year. In addition to their beautiful holiday displays, the store is packed with an impressive selection of greeting cards, gift wrap, toys, figurines, home décor, jewelry, accessories, and gifts for just about any occasion. They feature brands that include Lilly Pulitzer, Vera Bradley, Bogg Bags, and Spartina's Florida Map collection, all of which I love. They also carry fun novelty socks with salty sayings, as well as Bombas socks, which I've tried before and are incredibly comfortable. Even though it's still summer, their Halloween collection was already out for fans of Summerween. I also spotted some wonderfully soft pajamas and beautifully scented candles that would make thoughtful gifts. And when it comes to buying a card for someone I care about, Hallmark cards have a way of making every occasion feel a little more special.

I'm impressed that the Hallmark shop still stands. All of the ones that I've seen in local malls…read moreand shopping centers are long gone. This one had a bit of a limited selection compared to the Hallmark stores that I've used to. They have downsized a lot since the time of pre-Covid. They only offer cards and a small section of knickknacks now, instead of the larger selection of everything that they used to have. The part that I'm disappointed in is the lack of miniature Glass Animals. They did away with those, which was sad.
