Excited to hear they have plans of opening an eatery/restaurant in Lafayette within the next year. We will absolutely check it out. Love this place and the entire family. The corn ones seem more fragile than other fresh tortillas, though, which made them a bit trickier to work with. Compared to Las Americas Tortillaria (which is about equidistant from my house), La Frontera suffers due to their lack of tasty noms like carnitas, Mexican cheeses and homemade salsa to enjoy with a big stack o' fresh, warm tortillas. Also, the atmosphere isn't as friendly, for what that's worth, and they don't take credit/debit cards.

This happens only because at both places they're so incredibly fresh with no preservatives whatsoever, so torn tortillas aren't a complaint. But that extra little step of separating each one is a nice touch.
