They want to make sure you love their food. We ordered the beef and lamb Gyro as well as the falafel Gyro, both were excellent and huge portions. Never tasted such a good Gyro! We saw that they have the chocolate strawberry desserts, as well as baklava, as well as Dubai chocolate. We ordered the homemade baklava, and it was excellent! Since we had never heard of the Dubai chocolate, the owners gave us a piece to try, and OMG, that is a winner! If you love milk chocolate, and pistachio cream inside. We will definitely be back when we are in the neighborhood. You must try this place!

It's in a small plaza next to a pawn shop and a Mexican spot, and while the restaurant is on the smaller side, all the window signs make it easy to find. Inside there are a few booths and people waiting for to go orders, but I didn't see anyone dining in. My food was made fresh and took about ten minutes. The man who greeted me didn't talk much, but it was a fast and simple pickup. When the order came out, everything was already packed up and ready to go. I peeked inside the bag before leaving and was excited to see a full chicken platter with rice, salad, hummus, and tzatziki. They also included a chicken gyro on a super soft pita with lots of chicken chunks and fresh veggies and herbs. The food was delicious even after a twenty minute drive home. The tzatziki tasted really fresh, the rice was fluffy and seasoned well, and the chicken had great flavor. There was plenty of food for me, my husband, and our four year old to share. I noticed they offer catering too, and I would definitely consider them for a future gathering. Really impressed and looking forward to coming back to try more.

When one leaves Indiana for California, you take advantage of the weather when the opportunity arises. And it was a beautiful day, so the search for outdoor dining led us to Tonno's Sports Bar and Grill. We aren't big drinkers, but everyone knows that sports bars have great food, and several reviews raved about their burgers. We arrived a bit after noon on a Saturday, and there were several people inside doing a specialty 'breakfast shot' which was whiskey and bacon or some such. If that's your thing, this seems to be the place to be. We selected a table outside in a nice area with both sun and shade. There were kids in this area too, so it's obviously not 21+ like most places in Indiana. They were a big crazy (young, running, loud) but not enough to bother us or others around us. The parents were probably doing the breakfast shots LOL. I ordered the cheeseburger with added bacon plus tater tots. The tots were oversized and delish. Think of the taste of a McDonald's hash brown but in bite size form. The burger was great too, believe it was a full half pound burger. Wife ordered the BLT and loved it. Her fries were good, but nothing special. Ordering takes place at the bar, and they give you a number for your table. Service was quick and I went inside for three refills on my soft drink. They didn't give me a dirty look, so it must not bother them. We stayed for nearly 3 hours just enjoying the weather, eating our food, and reading books while we waited for afternoon activities that were scheduled for our team. A good experience, would return if in the area.

I…read morecame here for my cousin's graduation party, and while I didn't eat anything myself, I did get a couple drinks. The bar staff was amazing. I was torn between two drinks, and the bartender was super sweet, she let me sample both and even offered a third based on what I told her I liked. I wish I remembered what it was called, but her recommendation was on point: super fresh, great flavor, and exactly what I didn't know I needed. The food looked solid from what I saw others eating, so I definitely want to come back and actually try it next time. The back patio was also a whole vibe! Lots of seating, games, and great energy. It was freezing the night we were there, but the big fire pits made it totally bearable. I can only imagine how fun this place is in the summertime. Hanging out here with friends on a warm night? Definitely on my list.

Definitely liking the food menu and having happy hour pricing. Big wins there. However, I'm going to throw out a complaint that throws off the vibe and why I only tip 10%. This switch to funneled counter service creates a disconnected experience where the servers and bartenders don't seem to matter. You stand in a long line that takes forever to get through. Beers aren't even listed on the overhead monitors. You feel rushed to put in your order because you're aware of everyone who is waiting behind you. Get your food, put your buzzer on a table. Someone shows up with it. When you need a drink, you have to get up and navigate a line, again. Again, I'm tipping 10% for that at most. This is counter service. If I have to get up, stand in line and get my own drinks? Not a premium experience. But the prices here? It feels really disconnected. You're charging $10 for a beer? I have to get up and stand in line to get one... It all just looks like and feels like someone who designed this workflow hasn't been in the service industry. Too many awkward disconnection points and a lack of continuity. Imagine you went to a bar with 5,000 sqft and everyone was funneled into a line with two registers. There are 30+ taps. They're charging a premium for food and beverage. It's a great space. Food is good. Staff is fine. But the vibe is just off. The story arc when you walk in to when you leave feels weird. Like a top-down edict from management trying to force patrons into an unnatural workflow trying to improve one part of the business while compromising 7 others, losing whatever soul in the process. And the tap selection is lazy. I'll update my review if the vibe changes. It's just painful to see such a great space so awkwardly used. It even mostly works until the execution falls flat. I mean, imagine having a drink and knowing you're going to have to wait 20 minutes in a line to get another one on a lazy Sunday afternoon. It's... weird. It's 2-stars weird. Someone thought this was a good idea?

I mentioned Fair Oaks Brew Pub as an option I found on Yelp &, as a local, he said it was a great choice. We almost immediately scored street parking only a few doors down. I'd never been to Old Fair Oaks Village before. Looking around, the little town center was more reminiscent of a historic gold country town up in the foothills than Sacramento suburban sprawl. The cutesy charm of the surroundings extended to Fair Oaks Brew Pub itself. Greeted as soon as we walked up, we chose to sit out in their inviting patio area on a perfect Spring day. Our server was along shortly. She was friendly, helpful, & the right amount of attentive. For brew pub fare, we both chose the Risky Burger. Essentially a Western bacon BBQ variation of their regular cheeseburger. Sides were upgraded to onion rings. For the brew, I got their Chicken Foot Pale Ale. Everything was up before long. The Risky Burger was outstanding. Crispy bacon, tasty onion rings (in the burger, as well as on the side), gooey melted cheese, & a perfectly cooked patty just juicy enough to turn the last bite or 2 of the whole burger into a bit of a mess. The Chicken Foot Pale Ale was decent for style, though a little old school in terms of recipe/ malts/ hops. Still, a refreshing pairing for the Risky Burger. All in all, Fair Oaks Brew Pub was a great spot to grab a bite & a beer in an unexpectedly scenic pocket of suburbia.

We weren't asked if we needed refills, how our food was, or if everything came out correctly. At one point, I had to get up and go to the bar myself just to order another drink, which definitely took away from the overall experience. It felt like we were completely forgotten. The atmosphere and food may have potential, but the lack of attentive service made it hard to fully enjoy our visit. Hoping this was just an off night, but it wasn't a great experience.
