This bacon and avocado burger was absolutely next-level. The patty was incredibly juicy and stacked high with all the good stuff. Every bite was packed with flavor. The bacon was cooked perfectly, crispy without being overdone, and paired so well with the fresh avocado. You could really tell everything was made with aloha, and it was cooked to perfection. This was the best food we had so far on our trip to Hawaii! The owner was so friendly and kind! We got 2 burgers one was a combo with the puna fries and a drink. I got the teri double meat burger and my girlfriend got the original burger. The burgers were juicy, warm and tasty. The fries had cheese and grilled onions and some kind of sauce that was delicious. They absolutely hit it out of the park! The Dynamite Fries truly make this place stand out from other burger joints. We went for the "fat" fries, smothered in their irresistible dynamite dressing--and wow! We started snacking on them on the drive home, but let's be honest... they never actually made it home. We devoured them! We also tried the double cheeseburger with grilled onions, and it did not disappoint! The buns were perfectly soft, and the patty was surprisingly flavorful. We had braced ourselves for a dense, frozen-tasting burger, but instead, we got something tender and downright onolicious! The fresh vegetable toppings were on-point. Brenden definitely has skills in the kitchen! The staff was warm and welcoming, effortlessly showcasing the aloha spirit. Called in an order at about 1130, was told 10 min till pick up. When I arrived order wasn't ready so I came back about 15 min later. Burgers were okay, not really smashed building that crust you'd expect. Reminded me more of a in and out burger, but there wasn't enough sauce to make it really flavorful. I had heard good things so I was really looking forward to trying it out but I was let down. Would be willing to give it another try as staff was really nice and friendly. read more

Wow the Cheeseburgers here are phenomenal , great fries and incredible service we drove in and ordered when it wasn't super busy but they also have a phone number to call ahead orders and a website to place orders. This is the best burger south of Hilo by a lot. I can't say the same for the fries, they are really oily and as soon as they cool off a little bit they get gross. The burger is good enough that I can't give it less than 5. There's picnic tables there, it's fine, but I usually get it to go since it's kind of on the highway. Not the best place to sit with all the traffic noise. Food comes out pretty fast, orders are 100% right so far, after maybe 5 visits. Someone mentioned this place as the 'closest thing to In-N-Out,' and I've got to say--the fries here blow In-N-Out out of the water. Also, make sure to grab some fry sauce, cause you won't find better! We only got burgers for the kids this time, but even those were solid.
