Came here after spending the day shopping on a First Monday. Food is terrible. Fries were burned, rubens are inedible. Service is terrible. The table next to us arrived, waited 20 minutes to even be acknowledged and finally quit and left. 10/10 do not recommend stopping by here. read more

Good food, good service, nice atmosphere. The menu had a variety of things which seem to suit all six of us.

Service was good. Food was good. For an appetizer I had the wings. These were cooked perfectly. Not breaded but fried so the skin was very crunchy. I had the smothered chicken breast with seasonal vegetables. The breast was tender and juicy. My only complaint is the chicken needed more seasoning. When we got here we got our drinks right away, 30 minutes later they took our order. At least another 30 minutes later we got our food. One plate had raw meat, the other had cold potatoes and no gravey on a dish that came with gravey. Asked for my gravey but got the wrong one. Asked for the right one and by the time I got it the rest of my dinner was cold. Got a refill on my drinks but no ice. Asked for ice and the put it in a dirty glass. Wont be back. Rude, We had a party of 8 for a graduation dinner, we waited 25 mins for being waited on then, our Oder was put in then after an 40 min wait they informed us that they couldn't serve us our food. On a road trip, we saw The Bunker on Yelp. Wow! The chicken-fried chicken was fabulous. It was huge, enough for us to split! We will return.

Nice looking place, great menu and prices. Friday evening, party of 3, took forever to take our order. 2 entrees were not fully cooked, one came without the gravy and arrived cold. The third was fried catfish and was very good, however the sides were cold. Not good for onion rings. Asked for an extra glass of ice for our iced tea which arrived to our table in a dirty glass. Bottom line is that the fried catfish was exceptional, however the rest of the food was not. Oh, only one waiter that I could see. read more

This was my first time to visit this restaurant . I had the chicken fried steak which the steak was very good . The cream potatoes and gravy tasted like instant and in my opinion was not worth the price. The atmosphere was good . The service was a little lacking since they were not busy at the time . The food has changed and so has the quality. The vegetables used to be my favorite side now they are dripping in oil. They used to have the best rolls that tasted super fresh. Everything just tastes generic. Not sure if the cooking staff has changed due to the pandemic. The wait staff continues to be warm and welcoming. They do a great job. First Timer, come to Canton for trade days every month. The service was great, the food was even better, the view was nice. But the members that were at other tables were very loud and didn't seem to care about others in the restaurant. The Bunker is the eatery at the country club. The name suggests a space that might be on a lower level or not brightly lit. That's not the case. Drawn by the excellent Yelp reviews I dined there at lunch time Saturday and although it was Canton weekend with thousands in town, the restaurant was not busy. We were seated in a lounge/casual cafe space, another dining room is visible but was not being used when I visited. The cafe/lounge is at the side of the building and features large windows overlooking the golf course. Ceilings and walls are wood with a light finish, the floor Terrazzo. A big complaint from me is for the sound level. Although some effort to control sound by applying some sort of foam treatment above the windows was noticed, the sound level is annoying. Hard surfaces all around.... Menu prices are perhaps a little higher than other casual dining establishments, but not so much to cause sticker shock. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak based on Yelp reviews. Lunch was served quickly. The plate consisted of a battered and fried cube steak, a mound of mashed potatoes, Italian green beans, cream gravy and a yeast roll. Cube steak wasn't what I was expecting....it wasn't bad but reminded me of a school lunch. Not good enough to bring me back. What was truly good was the service. The young lady was friendly, prompt, refilled drinks and tended to the table very well. The server was the high point, the food quality the low point; all this in a setting that couldn't have been less "bunker like". read more

This place was such a surprise. My in-laws are members of the club, but this restaurant is open to anyone. It is definitely the best place to eat out in Canton based on the 5 years we've been visiting our family out here. They also do take out! We flex between all veg and occasionally eating seafood about once a month, so we were beyond excited to see that the menu is veg-friendly. The first time we ate here, the waitress let us know that they are happy to accommodate special orders as well. Our table ordered the salmon salad with one blacked and one grilled. Both were huge portions of fish and tasted phenomenal. The zucchini fries were also the best us mostly veg-heads have ever had (obviously not the most healthy option- but great comfort food for when we want to indulge a bit). All this being said, if I'm being honest... the drinks were pretty terrible, we ordered two old-fashioned's and they tasted like half the glass had been filled with water. I was embarrassed that it was my father-in-laws first introduction to what normally is a fabulous classic drink, but who knows- maybe the bartender was having an off day. This was the worst experience I have ever had . We sat down and the waiter tells us they are out of all steaks, hush puppies & okra . So i ordered hamburger steak and everyone else ordered something fried and was simple like mashed potatoes and Mac & cheese. She then comes back to inform me that they are out of that too. After waiting an hour she comes out to inform us that they are now out of mac & cheese too! So after waiting 1 1/2 she brings out food out and it looks like everything was from the bottom and last of everything! A piece of the fried catfish didn't even have the catfish in the breading. My husband ordered chicken tenders & fries and it came out looking like a kids meal with 2 tenders and a very small amount of fries for $10. It was a complete joke. Let me just say the waitress was very nice and kept apologizing which it is NOT her fault. We never saw a manger or was offered to talk to a manger so we paid the $50 bill and walked out without even taking a bit. Never again !
