The service itself was extremely disappointing. The technician, David, set up a rat glue trap and two metal traps but brought no bait at all, even though fresh fruit is necessary for trapping iguanas. My husband had to provide mangoes and bananas himself. Each day, David would stop by, spend less than a minute looking at the traps, leave without refreshing the bait, and call it a visit. When asked about a "plan B" since nothing was being caught, his response was essentially that there was none. We tried calling the company several times with no response. Eventually, we spoke with Erwin and then Jose, who both apologized and admitted the technician was unprofessional for not bringing bait. They promised a follow-up but never called back. Instead, at the end of the "7-day service," David simply returned to remove the traps--still empty--without offering any solution. To make matters worse, I checked on Amazon and found the exact same traps for under $100 total. So in effect, we just rented two empty traps for $800. No results, no effort, no communication, and no professionalism. I strongly advise against using this company. Save your money--there are far better and more honest options out there.

We asked if the animal sought our attic to have babies and he said no that raccoons have offspring in Spring, he does not know what he's doing or talking about, she did have babies and now he will not help us get them out. We have called another, more knowledgeable company and we're told this was not the correct way to safely remove this family from our attic. We feel awful and this person should not be advertising he is a reliable animal remover. Don't hire him!

Both times, I was very pleased with the outcome! Gary and his wife Jen are super easy to work with and very knowledgeable. They made the hive removal a breeze! Gary was also very conscientious about not making too much of a mess with the chemicals and the hive. Cleanup was perfect! One thing you should know is that while Gary can open up your drywall or concrete wall to get to the hive, you will need to make your own arrangements to close any holes back up. We were experiencing some large red ants in our upstairs bathroom, and we decided to contact Native…read morefor an evaluation. I was really impressed with my initial experience. They were very professional on the phone, kept their appointment time, and the gentleman who came out was very personable. He advised what type of ants they were and proposed a treatment plan and we proceeded to sign a 1-year contract. Unfortunately, we truly came to regret choosing Native. We were told by the salesman that they would clear all the webbings and spiders from outside the home, but this was NEVER done during ANY of our treatments. The exterminator who came said that the red ants were a different type of ant than the salesman who came, which was off-putting. While the red ant situation in the bathroom did resolve for the most part, we would still one or two every once in a while, and the overall pest control was a joke. During the entire year of service we continued having sugar ants in the kitchen, centipedes that would make their way inside as well as in the yard, and a million black crazy ants allllll over the patio and around the yard. We called to complain and they supposedly sent a "manager" out to us, but he barely discussed anything with my husband. My husband wasn't even aware he was dealing with a "manager" and I had to let him know after the fact. He said the person who came out didn't do anything different than the usual service people- and the "manager" also failed to remove the spider webs from the windows and yard area. It was a joke. We had ONE good exterminator come- Rangel- who was really wonderful. I voiced my complaints and disappointment to him and he was surprised that in all the time we had been receiving service the webs had not been cleared. It had been about 6 months already. He took his time on our home and spent about 45 minutes thoroughly applying products around the yard and clearing all the webbing from all upstairs and downstairs windows as well as in the yard. After his visit things did seem slightly better for a bit- but things returned after a month or so. Native offers to come re-treat the home if pests continue, but it just becomes redundant and useless after a point. It resolved nothing. I am not sure what products they use but I feel like they must be watered down or something. For the sugar ants in the house they placed the ordinary plastic ant trap trays. You do understand that I can go buy those anywhere on my own? If I wanted plastic ant traps all over my window sills and counters I would have done that myself. Before you may think this is a "me" problem, I assure you I keep a clean home - and when we had Orkin for 2 years we never saw a single pest- inside or out. The yard was free from any kind of ants or spiders. No sugar ants inside. No centipedes. No palmetto roaches that like to come inside when it rains. Nothing. We went with Native because they talked a good talk and seemed so professional, and the price was better than Orkin- but I guess this was a case where you get what you pay for- or maybe not even that. I gave two stars for professionalism and organization.

The twice-a-month essential oil applications-- although not cheap -- not only keep the mosquitoes away, it also smells lovely and doesn't harm our pets, butterflies, homegrown vegetable garden or fruits.
