A little smokie but the waitress, Chris , is awesome and entertaining and the food great. Sloppy joes are their specialty!!

I visited again. I can't compliment this place enough. I…read morelove the downtown building and the various bar, table, booth and high top seating options. Service from Tahlia was excellent. I had the cheese bread, which is incredible. (It's so difficult to choose between the cheese bread and the pretzel.) I tried the wrath burger. It was good and would have been even better if I had gone with the egg sunny side up instead of fries. The fries are out of this world. I'd make the hour drive just for them.

What a difference without the oiliness:…read morea hearty mouthfeel and great texture; bursting with flavor, and even the leftovers reheat pretty well. There is no 'meat taste' at all so get in here and give these a try. I had a feeling I would love it and I did. It's a large yet cozy venue with the number 5 featured prominently in assorted art as well as on the tables. The building is historic, lots of wood, brick and brass railings plus a stunning Victorian bar back. We ate at the bar which was very comfortable. Little sliding wooden trays to make it convenient for eating, then just move them out of the way when you're done. They have 10 or so craft beers on tap and a full bar. We had the opportunity to sample a couple brews and we both enjoyed our beer choices and the food. Prices were fair, and tax is included in the menu price. I really want to shout out our bartender/server. Didn't get her name but she had round glasses with eyeglass chain attached and was on the shorter side. She was very customer focused, answering all our first-timer questions, attentive, appropriately conversational, and definitely on the ball as she was handling tables too. Top notch service. About those railings: unless there's a special back entrance, the venue may not be wheelchair accessible. There are two or three steps at the entrance, and if you want the bar instead of booth or table, another three or four. Both have sturdy solid handrails. I do not fault them for this; probably the historic building is exempt, but just wanted to note it for anyone needing that info. All in all a five star experience and I hope to return soon.

Good place for drinks. Decent sports-bar atmosphere but the TVs are not great quality for the year…read more2026. But as far as food goes. I've had some of the most depressing restaurant food in my life here. They should stick to burgers and pizzas and I'd bump up the score to 3 stars. If you can't make a dish on your menu, take it off the dang menu, don't "pretend"... I can tell.

Massively high ceilings, two stories including an elevated train platform. Parts of old train cars make up part of it and the main barroom floor comes from a basketball court! The outside is covered with cool mural paintings. On our first visit it was a little tricky to find the door. All those big TV screens and tons of sport related decor, as you'd expect for a sports bar, but the lighting is rather low, which I liked. The menu is more typical family restaurant, much more than bar food. The salads were simple and fresh and the lettuce was crispy iceberg. I had spaghetti and meatballs, requested and received a shaker of parmesan. The dish needed a little salt but was tasty and satisfying. My husband had a sirloin which he thought was cooked a little beyond the requested medium rare, but it was tender and tasty so he was a happy camper. Service was friendly, sweet and prompt. They have NFL Sunday Ticket and TouchTunes jukebox. I saw a full size shuffleboard and would like to come back to play that. There's a pool table in the other dining room. One tall beer, one shot, one soda, two entrees, 40 bucks. Recommended for an inexpensive satisfying meal, plus the historical setting.
