i had a lash lift and tint with megan, and i am so impressed! i gave her the full disclaimer that i'm just about three months post-recovery from a major lash lift gone wrong, where my lashes were completely fried. megan took that seriously and opted for a lighter lift to be cautious & they still turned out phenomenal. what really stood out though.. she walked me through every step of the process. like actually talked me through what she was doing, which has never happened before. i've always wished someone would, because your eyes are closed the whole time and you're just guessing what's going on. she was super soft-spoken and kind the entire time, and my eyes didn't feel sticky or irritated after (also a first). so happy to have found a spot i can walk to. will 100% be back! read more

Do not come here for lash lift and tint. They only ended up barely curling the tips of my lashes and, even worse, they were clearly not curled to the same degree (some were straighter). My mom and sister, who both got beautiful lifts elsewhere and whose lashes were significantly different than mine, agreed that they gave me a half curl and you can hardly tell the difference from my normal lashes. Not worth the $150. What's worse is I got these done Tuesday afternoon and contacted them about an hour after asking for a fix or partial refund. Apparently between Tuesday night and Friday night they only had 1 time to offer me (which I couldn't make because my boyfriends grandpa died and I needed to be with him) and so, because they were "fully booked," I had to go on a trip without them being fixed. I did not get an apology and they didn't respond to my request to get them fixed when I returned or get a partial refund. My mom, sister, and boyfriend all read the texts and agreed she seemed like she didn't really care at all and sort of brushed me off. It was really disappointing in three full days they couldn't find more than one time to squeeze me in to fix their mistake and that it was my problem they were "booked". I really don't normally review businesses but the price of the service and the way everyone seemed to agree my eyelashes did not look good and how they sort of completely brushed me off sort of sucked. Especially when I was SO excited to have my lashes lifted for a big trip and my mom and sisters lashes looked soooo good. Only reason they have two stars is because I've had some good brow appointments there (although last time I was there the lady without my knowledge switched my appointment from wax to thread (she did it during my appointment so I didn't see the notification that she switched it until after) and decided to thread my brows instead) read more

Ashley did an AMAZING job tinting, shaping and laminating my brows. First off, Brow Fixx was easy to make an appointment with online - timings, costs, what to expect - anything you need to know is all online and emailed to you prior to your appointment. The salon is located within Salon Republic in Santa Monica (2nd street) and the process was so quick that my parking was free. The studio itself was incredibly clean and cute inside. Ashley was warm and upbeat, explaining the process before we got started. Lamination didn't hurt or sting at all and she shaped my brows beautifully. The three week tint was super fast and I love the slightly cool color. All in all a really great experience and I love my polished fluffy brows. Definitely worth it if you're on the fence! read more

Should you have to reschedule, insist on written confirmation. Otherwise, they bill your credit card, and deny (via text message) receiving the cancellation. And take a photo of your cancellation e mail. I have since discovered another salon with terrific customer service. read more

Read the fine print on their website: I was running a few minutes late, let them know and when I got there one minute after the grace period, I was turned away and charged the full price of the treatment: almost $100. The corporate staff was very confusing in terms of grace period policy. I would have made it on time if they had been clearer about about policy and if the space was easy to find: it is not. The exterior of the building has a different name than Brow Fixx and once you go inside the retail space, there are several hallways and offices which make it hard to find. I kindly asked for a make up session the following day, which the artist offered me, but they only offered another same day appt. which I could not make. Overall not a good customer service experience. read more

I got my lashes curled by Megan and she was great. She was super kind and friendly and chatty, but not overly chatty. She was very accommodating to me and was good at checking in how i was feeling. My only complaint is that chair is so uncomfortable to lay back in! Getting up after laying down for so long was a bit painful. maybe it's because I'm a bigger gal but it is such a weird position that it creates an awful painful arch in my back and to stay like that for an hour is hard. Megan was able to offer me a pillow for my back which helped but not nearly enough. I highly highly suggest they invest in a nicer chair where the back of the seat is in better alignment with the bottom without gaps. I have gotten my lashes curled at a couple places around southern california and have never had a problem with a chair. read more

This was my first time getting a brow wax and I was super nervous but it was such a great experience. I had Christina and she was so accommodating and nice. Did such a good job making me feel less anxious. I told her I wanted to keep my natural eyebrow shape and just clean it up a bit. I emailed Naomi the morning of my appointment (about an hour and a half before my appointment time) and asked if I may please reschedule as I was pregnant and having some scary symptoms (I was in fact having a miscarriage) and still managed to email and apologize and ask if they would mind rescheduling. As I was a return client and had even promoted them on my Instagram, I assumed they may reschedule with a fee. I received an email back promptly saying that they were 'so busy and turned down other appointments' so they were cancelling my appointment and charging me $120. Needless to say I will be finding another brow salon that perhaps has a little more understanding/compassion. *Im a little confused at the response Naomi as it was you I emailed with on Tuesday and did mention I was pregnant and having scary symptoms... so I'm not sure why you said you weren't aware of the situation. Again, a late reschedule fee seems acceptable in an emergency but your email was cold and you charged me the full appointment. Unless you have someone else emailing under your name, I'm at a loss. read more
