I waited about three weeks for it to heal. At first, I thought maybe it happened because it was my first time having my eyebrows threaded, or perhaps my skin was too thin or sensitive. She told me that I needed to get more collagen to tighten my skin and said that she could do this. I already take collagen and do a lot to take care of my skin and keep it healthy. When I went back a second time, the same thing happened--the skin around my eyebrows was cut again. Another thing I don't like is that she doesn't let you look at the work she has done with a mirror. I would like to be able to see my eyebrows afterward in case I want to ask for any adjustments or additional work. Instead, she finishes and simply says, "You're done." I find the whole experience to be very rushed and not very friendly or polite.

I went for a consultation with Shaughnessy who is a wonderful artist and my brows were so gorgeous when they first were done. She told me it is typical to have a second treatment and it would be another $300 on top of the $1000 I have already spent. To pay another $300 for unsatisfactory results that were great at the beginning is totally unacceptable. It says the Studio does not stand behind their work and certainly doesn't provide customer satisfaction. I am soooo disappointed - this was my 75th birthday present to myself. I just walked out - So my advice : Beware : Ask what guarantees there are for the work to remain looking good - Surely for $1000, 7 weeks is not adequate!

I never got a confirmation or calendar invite or a call before my appointment. So I called them the same day to apologize and asked if they can book another one, and they were all good. They called me the next day to ask me for my credit card. I thought that it's for my next day appointment so that I am obliged to go (which I thought it's fine, so I gave..and before I hangup I confirmed that it's for my next day appointment). When I went for the appointment the next day, everything was going well so far and I paid. When I asked for a breakup for the charge, they charged me the amount for the previous appointment too. I was taken aback by this and on top of it, they said they told my husband over the call about it while booking the new one. I didn't react and left after paying. When I returned, my husband had no clue about it and he said that he even called them twice for another appointment. They didn't mention anything of that sort. We both were really angry what happened. They never said about the payment to me or to my husband. They didn't even mention it when I booked the second time. Neither they mention it during the first time, I may not have missed it. I feel I shouldn't have called to apologize here in the first place. Review for the style : I asked to style my hair as a bun. It turns out the salon didn't have any Bobby pins of any sort. This was ridiculous. On top of that, the hairstylist didn't even curl my hair properly. My hairs are thin and they looked thinner after the styling. I don't expect this from a hairstylist whom I paid heavily. I wont go to this place ever. This is definitely not the service for the price I paid (220cad).
