11 Stars to all the staff. I can't say enough about everyone who I interacted with at this place!…read moreFrom the front desk, to people helping with an event, to the team at the front door of the hotel, to the restaurant staff, and finally Kailan in the coffee shop who made my delicious hot mocha every morning... everyone was a pure delight! So why 4 stars? It all comes down to the pillows... I wish hotels would get this. But if I'm not getting a good night's sleep in a hotel, I really can't give it 4 stars. Everything else in the room was great, especially the bar soap here! I'd buy it for home if I could. The decor was awesome. The theme of music resonates through the halls and rooms and even the cool guitar shaped sinks in the public rest rooms. I read a bit about the history of the area and things about Elvis, The Rolling Stones, and a few other bands... Juggalos may be disappointed as I didn't see any of their fans or Faygo Pop anywhere. I must have been on the VIP list as my room was upgraded and I had a bonus room where I could have had some parties or meetings or party meetings (I like combining them). Sadly, I wasn't prepared and just sat in there by myself for a while feeling good about myself. If you're here for a conference, please understand there will be quite the walk to the conference center. I was there in the heat so I opted to drive to the conference area so I wouldn't get all sweaty... I saved that for after! There are some cool views of the dam and the surrounding areas, so make sure you head to the tower and check it out. But if you've heard about southern hospitality, this resort hit all the marks for sure! Thanks to whoever is responsible for the mentality of the staff here. Excellent Excellent Excellent!

Quick staycation with my grandsons before school starts. The room was spacious and nicely…read moredecorated, small fridge is provided Nice size bathroom. The kids loved the pool You can also walk to the splash nearby. Now the reason I didn't give it 5stars #1 One of the workers weren't friendly or welcoming, my grandson mentioned it to me several times. #2 Our room floor wasn't vacuumed well before we arrived. #3. We couldn't enjoy sitting outside on balcony There were Spiders webs and SPIDERS everywhere #4 The buffet food wasn't hot! Other than that it was a good stay

The hosts provided us with a comfortable, enjoyable and informational expeirence that we will always treasure. Not only was our time memorable but our sleep was fantastic which I find rare when traveling to new climates. I will certainly return with my family and have already told my father to make this a destination next time he is in the area. Thank you again Johnathan and Polina. My son told everybody about how yummy your breakfast was. See you next time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at Shiloh Chennault Estate. Polina, one of the owners,…read more greeted us when we arrived, gave us a tour of the civil war artifacts and the exquisite 15th-to 19th century paintings that hung on the walls of the estate. It was a joy to see the paintings and civil war artifacts up close and have the opportunity to discuss the collection with Polina. After the tour, we settled into the Jenny Lind suite with the jacuzzi tub. It was great to soak in the tub and relax after a busy day and enjoy the complimentary wine and refreshments. Our room was so beautiful, quiet and comfortable. We woke up to a beautifully presented breakfast that was healthy and bursting with flavor. Our favorites were the sorbet and fruit, crostini and the lovey and delightful cheesecake. The small plates of deliciousness are sure to please any foodie. We highly recommend staying at the Shiloh Chennault Estate when you are visiting the area. Polina and Jonathan are great hosts who have a tremendous wealth of knowledge of fine art and military history. Shiloh Chennault Estate is very special treat that you don't want to miss.
