It did…read morenot work at all. many servicemen out, it was working properly when in fact, it will not come to temperature that it should and won't hold its temperature and the service man only tried to tell me how to bake. I've been baking for 50 years. I know how to bake. Continental will not give me my money back won't do anything for me Electrolux /Frigidaire ,just have me jumping through hoops and passing the buck they're terrible. Nobody go there. I will not set my foot in there ever again. They are not interested in customer satisfaction warranty, obviously matters for nothing. I complained shortly after I got it and continue to and got nothing but the runaround. I would recommend no one by at that business.

We bought a Bosch stove from Continental in late November 2025, the salesman, told us Bosch was top…read moreend for quality. We paid for the pickup/hall away service, the stove showed up with none of the usual packaging and a dent in the corner. We called Continental right away, they said they would have to send out a repair shop to see if it could be fixed. We told them we had no interest in a repair; we bought a new stove not a repaired stove. Continental told us that this happens all the time, there is a process they must follow with Bosch, or we would have to pay for the stove to be returned to the store.......and oh by the way we won't have a replacement for you for 6 weeks or so! On day four of owning the stove the touch screen was dead, couldn't turn the stove on. I turned the breaker off in the basement, tried again, and it worked. My wife started baking Christmas cookies, after a couple of trays she tried to turn the oven off, panel was dead again, had to shut off the breaker to turn the stove off. I report the dead panel to the manager at Continental; he sent me to the service department because we 'have to follow the process'. Service reported the dead panel to Bosch; Bosch sends out a different repair company and of course the panel is working when they arrive. I had taken a video of the panel when it was dead and when it wouldn't shut off. I shared the video with the repair guys and service at Continental; both agreed the unit was 'DOA' and should be replaced by Bosch. We waited 3 days, no response from anyone! I had to contact Continental for an update which they didn't have. I advised them than we were done with Bosch and asked what they had in stock for a replacement, they had nothing in stock and the closest replacement of any brand was Bosch. Hard to believe for a business that advertises they are different from the 'big box' stores because Continental has inventory........simply not true! We were very disappointed at this point with both Bosch and Continental so told them I would be returning the stove for a refund and buying from someone else. The manager gave me a half-hearted apology and said I hope you will give us a chance again in the future. NOT HAPPENING, this is unfortunate as we prefer to support local if possible, but we won't back at Continental again. I hope this review prevents others from suffering through the illusion of Continental having inventory and the false belief that we would be better served by buying locally!

This is not the company you want to deal with if there is an issue that requires customer guest care or any decision from store management after your purchase. There are two very important components to any retail purchase. The first is the actual shopping experience and eventually deciding on making the purchase and the second is the customer service you receive afterwards should there be an issue with the product such as if it is damaged or even perhaps getting a product different from what you explicitly ordered and paid for at the time of purchase. Our issue was in the last category. We received a piece of furniture that was not what we ordered. Normally, this would be an easy fix. You'd think. When store management was notified, within their policy timeline, they advised this had to go through guest care as they didn't have the authority to make any decisions. A simple fix would've been to return this piece of furniture to the store and wait for the correct one we ordered to arrive and paid for. Not to be the case! After talking to 3 guest care agents all of them stating that in order to return the item (even though the store had made the mistake) we would be on the hook for a restocking fee or at the very least a refund fee! When we explained that we were guaranteed by the salesperson prior to making the purchase the furniture item was what we had specifically requested and ordered, that care agent's response was, "can we prove that"? Long story short, the store salesperson we purchased the item through went out of his way to help us which after 10 days of phone calls to store managers, guest care agents and making a second long distant trip to the store to return the item, we finally received full refund with no fee. Without the help of this honorable salesperson (Ken) who seemed to be the only professional with integrity that worked for the company, we would still be waiting or had to keep something that we didn't want. Management level personnel at this store including guest care agents need to learn about customer service. Bottom line, if you choose to shop here, review the contract terms and conditions before paying for anything and make sure you have everything in writing and signed. Exercise due diligence. Also, I'd check out the store reviews before entertaining a purchase at the store. There is an old saying that goes something like this, learn from the mistakes of others cause you don't live long enough to make them all yourself. Good luck!

While shopping, we considered both brand-new and preowned options. We were assured multiple times by the sales representative that all their mattresses come with a 100-day sleep guarantee, meaning if you are unhappy with your purchase you have 100 days to return it. About a month and a half later... we are both extremely unsatisfied with the purchase. The mattress we picked up from their warehouse was NOTHING like the one we laid on in the store, the mattress was hard as a rock. When I called Customer Service to initiate the return I was informed that CPM's are final sale. Needless to say, we were SHOCKED. This was never mentioned to us at the time of purchase, and both my partner and I are confident we would've remembered such a critical detail. What made the situation worse was the complete lack of urgency in resolving our issue. I was told I'd receive a call from a store manager within 24-48 hours, but it took six days and 2 phone calls to customer service for the original sales rep to call back and say verbatim, "It's your word against mine." Not only was that response unprofessional, but it also felt like they were trying to gaslight me into accepting blame for their lack of communication. At this point, I insisted on speaking to a manager, which took another seven days. When he finally did call, he informed me that my claim had been escalated to the district manager and "the best" they could do for me was to return the mattress and receive a 50% in store credit, to which I declined. When I explained that the root cause of my dissatisfaction was the mattress's unbearable firmness, the manager suggested an alternative: try a mattress topper for one month, free of charge to see if it would add comfort. While I appreciated the effort to rectify the situation, a new mattress should not require a topper to be comfortable. This felt like a band-aid solution rather than addressing the core problem. Ultimately, we accepted the mattress topper as there was no better alternative, however, we are still unhappy with the whole process and proposed "solution". This experience has been nothing short of infuriating. If you're shopping here, beware of misleading sales tactics and non-existent customer service. I will NEVER purchase from Sleep Country again and recommend others think twice before doing so.

In fine print, it says you have to turn this mattress every few months, so you don't sleep in the same "hole." I am a smaller single person and after a few months, there is a visible indentation of where I've slept. I wake up with a sore back every day. Now it's been more than a month and still problem is not even fixed. Still they are forcing me to visit to the store and talk to store manager.
