It did…read morenot work at all. many servicemen out, it was working properly when in fact, it will not come to temperature that it should and won't hold its temperature and the service man only tried to tell me how to bake. I've been baking for 50 years. I know how to bake. Continental will not give me my money back won't do anything for me Electrolux /Frigidaire ,just have me jumping through hoops and passing the buck they're terrible. Nobody go there. I will not set my foot in there ever again. They are not interested in customer satisfaction warranty, obviously matters for nothing. I complained shortly after I got it and continue to and got nothing but the runaround. I would recommend no one by at that business.

We bought a Bosch stove from Continental in late November 2025, the salesman, told us Bosch was top…read moreend for quality. We paid for the pickup/hall away service, the stove showed up with none of the usual packaging and a dent in the corner. We called Continental right away, they said they would have to send out a repair shop to see if it could be fixed. We told them we had no interest in a repair; we bought a new stove not a repaired stove. Continental told us that this happens all the time, there is a process they must follow with Bosch, or we would have to pay for the stove to be returned to the store.......and oh by the way we won't have a replacement for you for 6 weeks or so! On day four of owning the stove the touch screen was dead, couldn't turn the stove on. I turned the breaker off in the basement, tried again, and it worked. My wife started baking Christmas cookies, after a couple of trays she tried to turn the oven off, panel was dead again, had to shut off the breaker to turn the stove off. I report the dead panel to the manager at Continental; he sent me to the service department because we 'have to follow the process'. Service reported the dead panel to Bosch; Bosch sends out a different repair company and of course the panel is working when they arrive. I had taken a video of the panel when it was dead and when it wouldn't shut off. I shared the video with the repair guys and service at Continental; both agreed the unit was 'DOA' and should be replaced by Bosch. We waited 3 days, no response from anyone! I had to contact Continental for an update which they didn't have. I advised them than we were done with Bosch and asked what they had in stock for a replacement, they had nothing in stock and the closest replacement of any brand was Bosch. Hard to believe for a business that advertises they are different from the 'big box' stores because Continental has inventory........simply not true! We were very disappointed at this point with both Bosch and Continental so told them I would be returning the stove for a refund and buying from someone else. The manager gave me a half-hearted apology and said I hope you will give us a chance again in the future. NOT HAPPENING, this is unfortunate as we prefer to support local if possible, but we won't back at Continental again. I hope this review prevents others from suffering through the illusion of Continental having inventory and the false belief that we would be better served by buying locally!

This antique mall is three floors of treasures!…read more If you love finding that special item which holds a memory from your past, you will enjoy this mall. The upstairs is mostly furniture and larger items. Vintage clothes and hats. Some mirrors and larger pieces of art. Every collector is represented here. You're into nautical? Well they have buckets of old floats and anchors and glass and brass portholes.... Western? Feed sacks, old saddle stands, signs..... Every soda is here. Coca Cola, Pepsi, Sprite, Mountain Dew......With signs and wooden crates. Some authentically old weathered signs and some reproductions. Many RCMP and SK collectibles. Old toys and dolls. Tons of dishes and kitchen items. My girls found old Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew books. The staff is friendly and helpful. They truly want to help you find that special item you are searching for. They only lose a star for price. I've seen the same Items in antique malls across the USA and Canada for much less.

Not good. Not good at all and I want people to know…read more My experience in this store revolves around a throughly unpleasant man named Gary. I don't know if he treated my friend and I badly because we are young or because we are women or both but let me just say it was pretty appalling. My friend and I spent about 2 hours looking around the store and when we had figured out what we wanted to purchase we went to Gary for help locating items. In the middle of helping us he got a phone call, which he answered and proceeded to be nasty to the caller while we stood around and waited. The conversation lasted between 5-10 minutes and we finally went downstairs to find someone else to help us. In the middle of talking to that man Nasty Gary showed up again. There is a large sign in the store that reads "We Make Deals." This sign falsely lead me to believe that they make deals. They should really remove it since this is not the case. I was talking to the man about the price of old bank bags and since I wanted quite a few I was wondering if it would be possible to get them for a little less. The asking price was $8.50 and when I asked Gary if he could make it less he then declared each bag was now $10. I was pretty flabbergasted and said no. Gary then took the bags and put them away only to come back a few seconds later to say he was confused about which bags we were talking about. He tried to recover the sale despite him lecturing us about how valuable these bags were and how lucky we were to find them since he was the only one to have them. Yeah right. I told my friend to put down the mirror we were going to buy and left. Gary is a massive jerk and frankly his behavior lost his business $300-400 as I was getting ready to buy several family Christmas presents from them. I am shocked at how this store conducts business and I would urge people to spend their money elsewhere. There is no bartering to be done here and any profits would just go to reinforcing rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, and arrogant behavior. There are plenty of antique stores out there with the same stuff. Go elsewhere.

I have purchased furniture for my daughter from the Brick in north Regina, product delivered…read moreinappropriate condition which is not acceptable. I was thinking they will take action for this but next day when I went to meet the manager, they have a big attitude problem and not even talking or answering properly. Now it's been more than a month and still problem is not even fixed. Still they are forcing me to visit to the store and talk to store manager. Manager Tatiana is so rude and extremely bad attitude I have ever seen. So my recommendation not to buy anything from the Brick. You don't get proper service from them after purchasing.

Bought 2 identical La-Z-Boy power rocker recliners and a power recliner loveseat. Delivered in July…read moreand noticed wrinkles on one rocker within 24 hours. Contacted service in August & was told La-Z-Boy said it was normal wear so no warranty. I emailed again because I couldn't believe how bad it looked after so little time. Owner, RJ Dundas, replied that the service person would not be responding any more and that there was nothing to be done. I sent pictures of the rockers. Next day he responded that the rep in Calgary said we had a claim. Service rep at Furniture World emailed she'd received permission to order a new base. Our base was picked up in October and returned in November looking worse. I called the store and told the salesman the story. RJ called and screamed most of the time accusing me of being a conspiracy theorist because they would all, La-Z-Boy, their rep in Calgary, Furniture World, RJ, and his service rep, were against me. He said the salesman was afraid the "crazy lady" would call again. The chair repair was fine because the new "chaise" met all La-Z-Boy satisfaction requirements. I finally yelled loud enough that I needed to get a word in to respond and he needed to hear me. I offered to call salesman,Gary, to apologize if I was out of line and RJ said he would. At the end of the call, RJ said that they would send the new picture to La-Z-Boy for further warranty review. I reviewed my email with pictures of the 2 chairs I'd sent and realized I had mislabeled the chairs - one we're satisfied with, the one prior to repair and the one returned to us. I emailed to apologize for my error: I realize that you were fully aware of my error in labeling the pictures and that you will not honour your offer to give me a full refund, as you stated in the horrific phone call last week. Throughout this ordeal I did not descend into the name calming you did. I hope you're proud of yourself for doing your utmost to demean and bully a senior. Perhaps this, too, could be used in your training. RJ Dundas' email response: Why are people like yourself always so hyperbolic? Firstly, the 'horrific' call ended quite nicely once we got past your conspiracy issues. And secondly, I've never name-called you. I told you you're probably not used to a rational person who will deal with your behavior, and if my recollection isn't enough several people heard our conversation and all confirmed I never name-called you. Moreover, your actions/words /emails are well-documented by us, what you think about how you behave is of no consequence.
