I bought a chair and a mattress on two separate occasions, and both times they were defective when I unboxed them. Both times the only thing they would do is tell me I had to go through the warranty process to get them repaired/replaced. Horrible customer service. read more

Poor service. Tried to get warranty work. Purchased 5 year blanket warranty. After tech comes out its left up to someone in the store to make a decision on techs report. Store trying to say its something different from what the tech told me during inspection. Tech said repair is required. Store refuses to show me techs report. Bad customer service. Not bad location, and the manager who was on the floor was very nice and accommodating. HOWEVER, the saleswoman (even though I know she is doing her job to the best of her abilities) really needed to leave me alone to discuss with my significant other what we were thinking about purchasing. There were subtle and not-so-subtle hints that we really wanted to just look around and test things out on our own and would find her when we were done and READY TO PAY.. but were bugged the entire time. We ended up leaving the building just to talk and be relieved if her extreme pressure, and ended up going to Leons which was a 30 minute drive both ways and spent $2000 that night, on very similar product. read more

The Brick, Fort Saskatchewan location is very accomodating. Alexander. who works at this location, is beyond amazing to deal with. Alexander spent over an hour with my daughter and I trying to find the perfect item in the area that we were exploring. Alexander did not pressure us, nor use any crummy sales tactics to get an immediate commission from us. After deciding on what we wanted, we went home to think about the purchase. More than a week later, I contacted Alexander and he remembered who I was, he remembered which item I was interested in purchasing, and he did everything possible to accomodate my needs. So, I made the purchase, and Alexander got me exactly what I needed within the timeframe that I needed it. I cannot say enough great things about the level of professionalism and courtesy that Alexander brought forward in helping me make the right decision, in giving me time to check reviews on the product I was considering, and in making the actual purchase as seamless and simple as possible. The brick furniture store here in Fort Saskatchewan. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. Do not go. We will never shop at the brick again and do not recommend it. We order a dining table, 8 matching chairs, a console table and an accent chair. Our table came with a giant gouge in it; our chairs that were to be preassembled came not assembled and in boxes; and our accent chair had one leg that was way too short so it wobbles. So 75% of what we ordered cake not right. We got original delivery on Wednesday. Didn't get replacement until Sunday as they wanted to ensure everything came properly so said the person on the phone. So I went 5 days and no kitchen table set. Sunday comes and the delivery truck arrives. Chairs still NOT assembled AND they only sent 6 not 8; accent chair replaced and STILL wobbled due to a short leg. Table top was good. So 66% of delivery #2 still failed. Manager at the store was proactive (appreciated) he came and removed the giant boxes of chairs from my home and went to the store and assembled them. And brought them back. Was told he'd contact me Tuesday as that's when their orders come in and he tested the chair so we didn't get delivered another faulty chair and he would personally deliver the new chair. Get a call today from the same customer service lady that didn't overly care the first time saying the chair didn't come in. When I asked about compensation for the giant mess and inconvenience of having no dining room for 5 days and would hen be over a week without my last piece of furniture she said "the manager can offer you free delivery on your next purchase". Needless to say I'll never get that "compensation" they so graciously offered as I will never purchase from the brick again. Buyers beware. Choose somewhere else. read more

We spent over $5000 on new appliances, for one to show up with a decent dent, and we should have known the Brick wouldn't help us what so ever. 3 days you have to report it.... funny because we told the delivery people, but again, they don't care. Horrible customer service from this Brick. I usually love the Brick and have bought all of my furniture from various stores throughout the years but this store had failed with customer service multiple times with me. Be it warranty issues (I realize warranty is not through the Brick but through other companies but even to get the proper Info to start the warranty on tv was like pulling teeth) and now even picking up new couches was a 45 minutes ordeal with the snottiest customer sales rep when there was literally no one else in the store. They're super nice when selling you the product and then they drop the ball completely. Save yourself the headache and drive to Edmonton, at least they have accountability read more

We had a horrible experience with the brick in fort Saskatchewan! We ordered a whole house worth or stuff and had to go back in three times because we were double charged for things and some of the items we purchased were being delivered on different dates other then the dates we were told and or out of stock. When I went in the last time I informed the manager that I was not told the items were out of stock if I had been we would have picked something else I was pretty much told I was lying and that he would try and have the furniture delivered on the proper dates then the furniture came damaged I called them the day it was delivered and was told they couldn't do anything that I would have to make a claim online so I did then I got very rude calls from their repair company and it's now been 2 months and my damaged furniture has not even been looked at. I will never shop the brick again nor would I tell other people to. read more
