About 4.25 stars. Excellent breakfast southern style. Lunch or brunch at this restaurant is perfect. They have good southern dishes. Please remember this is a take out restaurant. They do have picnic table outside if you decide to eat there. There is no restroom there. I got the grill shrimp and pork sausage (andouille sausage) with cheese grit. This is the good choice and highly recommended. The shrimp is really good. And the pork sausage is delicious. We also got the classic fried fish cheese grits. Fish fillets has good batter coating. Overall is good. If you don't want to wait for the food, call ahead. There is a minimum 10 minutes wait time from order to complete.

From the owners of The Outside Kitchen we now have that soulful deliciousness in breakfast/brunch only form. The Breakfast House has so many options the patrons were raving from previous popularity at the Grand Opening the line was actually down the street! My favorite of course is waffles & I got the veggie omelet which was loaded with mushrooms, spinach, onions & just the right amount of cheese + seasoning. *Next time I'll choose fish & grits. They also have lamb chops served with shrimps & Mac n cheese. As I stated- So many options to choose from. And can't forget the blue drink. Again... Lamb chops!! Also note- they have a a few patio seats near the entrance of the property but for now, this food is to-go bro!

I finally stopped by The Breakfast House in Tampa and tried the salmon croquettes with grits and WOW. The croquettes were perfectly seasoned with a crispy outside and tender, flavorful inside. The grits were smooth, creamy, and the perfect match for the salmon. Everything tasted fresh and made with care. The service was friendly, and my food came out hot and within 15-20 minutes. If you love a good Southern-style breakfast, this is definitely a plate worth ordering.

Top: fish and grits, bottom: shrimp and grits with sausage. 10/10!!!

I really regret coming here because I'm afraid no other shrimp and grits will ever compare to how good these are! I was absolutely speechless after trying the shrimp and grits and of course I had to steal a bite of my husband's fish, still I can't decide which I like more. The grits were creamy and the perfect vessel for the out of this world flavor of the shrimp. The shrimp were sautéed to perfection and the garlicky, buttery sauce was so good. The fish on the other hand was fried, lightly battered, and perfectly flakey and buttery on the inside. The portion was HUGE and the staff was very welcoming. It's a cute little take out spot, and while they do have a few tables outside, I recommend taking it to go as parking is limited and this is rightfully becoming a popular spot already! I definitely will be back for these grits and can't wait to try their Philly cheese steak omelette next

I must admit I had no idea what to expect when I looked this place up. I was pleasantly surprised by the food, the staff, the service! This is truly a hidden gem and I am glad I decided to try it! The catfish and shrimp and grits were amazing! The portion size was perfect! There really is no ambience to consider as this is a takeout restaurant! I truly cannot wait to experience the rest of their menu!

Fried fish All Around Combo & lemonade

I saw this restaurant pop up on my IG feed randomly and decided to go give it a try on my break. The food was amazing! I had the fried fish all around combo, it was perfectly seasoned, fried crispy, and tasted very fresh! The grits were flavorful and addictive. Call ahead and order if you're in a rush. I had time to wait so it was no problem for me and they did have limited outside seating and inside (as this is primarily for pickup). I'll definitely come back to try more menu items!!

Philly cheesesteak omelet, shrimp and grits with eggs and sausage and salmon croquettes and grits!

The wait was very long. They didn't have a lot of what we initially ordered. Probably due to the fact of timing. Food mediocre at best.

The crispy pork belly was perfectly cooked, the poached eggs were spot on, and the roasted red pepper hollandaise took the whole dish to another level. It's one of the best Benedicts I've had. My friend had the Morning Bowl, made with vanilla Greek yogurt, granola, fresh bananas and strawberries, topped with honey and their house-made blueberry poppy maple syrup. It was fresh, beautiful, and just the right balance of healthy and indulgent. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, and the service was warm and welcoming. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend Himes Breakfast House if you're looking for a memorable breakfast or brunch!

I thought we would love it, but we ended up finding it just OK…read more This is a super popular spot. We came at about 9 AM on a Sunday and there was a 15 minute wait. A lot of people bring their children here and it makes sense that they're here early since children wake up early. They also have a really cute treasure box with prizes for the kids, so if I was here with my family, I probably would bump this up a star. However, I was here with my husband and our couple friend. The decor is beautiful. I love how bright and cheery all the decorations are. Parking can get difficult, it seems like they have just enough parking for the amount of people there. The food is what I found just OK. I got their yogurt bowl, which I guess I can't really expect to be wow'd by a yogurt bowl, but I found it to be fine. My options were limited since I don't eat pork and a majority of their meat is pork. They do have a chicken sausage, but looking at pictures. It looks like the casing may possibly be pork so I decided to avoid it just in case. I also got their cold brew, it didn't come with any cream or sweetener or anything to add. I probably should've asked for some, because I found the cold brew to just be OK. My husband got the chicken pot pie and said he expected more chicken in it. I think our overall feel of the food was it was fine, but not great. I won't run to come back here, but I also wouldn't be opposed to someone wanted to. I think that's the definition of three stars for me. Price is super reasonable, this meal will not break the bank.

Delicious food with a lively atmosphere and welcoming staff - what more could you ask for?…read more I visited Oak and Ola for a birthday dinner and had an amazing time. Rather than trying to search for parking, we just paid $20 for the lot right nearby and it worked out great for us. We had a large group and our waiter, Zachary, was amazing. He had plenty of recommendations, anecdotes, stories, and jokes to keep everyone happy and full. He was definitely a highlight for all of us. We had a variety of drinks, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed them. I had the Sacred Empress and was so impressed with the balance of flavors - mostly sweet with a slight punch from the serrano cilantro simple syrup. It sounds funky but trust me on this! We also split a bottle of the Lagar De Costa Albariño, at the recommendation of our waiter, and we all loved it. For food, we started with the Lobster Ravioli, Truffle Frites, Crispy Pork Belly Bites, Crunch Love Caesar Salad, and Olives. All were devoured and I think the crowd favorites were the Lobster Ravioli (though expensive, $26 for 3) and the Pork Belly Bites. For mains, most people tended to get either the Steak Frites or the Gulf Fish Amandine (which was snapper). My steak and another at the table were both way overcooked on the first go around but they very quickly remade them (and the fries) and got them back to us in 5 minutes, perfectly cooked. It was a delicious and filling dish. The Gulf Fish Amandine was also really tasty, but it felt like it was missing something like a starch. It's a very simple and classic dish. The Pork Chop was also well loved amongst the table and many people wished they got it after trying a bite! For dessert, you absolutely have to get the Toffee Cake - it was everyone's favorite dessert. Super soft, warm, and comforting, plus that vanilla ice cream just took it to another level. We also enjoyed the Chocolate Mousse, and the free birthday dessert they kindly brought out for us. Overall, the restaurant is fun and lively, with an eclectic feel in the mismatched dining sets and decor. I really loved how it felt. It's definitely a nicer spot for a date or celebration, but worth it!

Now to the review: I loved that you could see part of the kitchen from the dining area. It's very open with a central bar and didn't feel crowded or congested even though it was busy. I walked in on a Saturday night with plenty of seating at the bar. I wish I could recall the bartenders name who served me because he was awesome. Arancini 9/10 - these were actually my favorite part of dinner. Crispy, great flavor and would get these again Crispy Pork Belly - 6/10 the pork itself didn't seem seasoned and slightly tough. The sauce was spicy which I wasn't expecting. Margarita Pizza 7/10 - great taste but the crust was super floppy. I prefer a much crispier crust Burger 7.5/10 - it was good but I'm not sure I would get again. Charred Brussel Sprouts 7/10 - charred nicely but seemed basically plain. They definitely needed the sauce in the bottom Basque Cheesecake 8/10 - first time trying basque cheesecake and maybe the burnt flavor isn't for me so giving it a 8 because otherwise I thought it was good. Sticky toffee cake 8.5/10 - great taste but wanted the texture to be better. It sort of felt like a dry sponge and would have preferred a more dense cake personally I heard a lot of hype about this place so I had high expectations going. I'll admit, I was a little let down with my experience. There was a ton of things I wanted to try but of the things I selected, I'm not sure I'd go back to chance trying the others. Simply my preference and each their own. It is a great vibe with great staff and I did like the tastes of a few things. It's good, not great. Being about to take a scenic walk after dinner is nice too. Fair warning, parking was insane. I paid $20 to park in a grass lot due to a car show / event going on down there. I recommend this place at least once. I had higher hopes and I'll chalk it up to an off night which is why it's a 4 and not a 5 in my book.

Overall, I'm very happy that this place is at Armature Works…read more I like to try to eat healthy when I'm out and about and also eat high protein, I found my options at Armature Works is kind of limited based on these two criteria. I'm glad Graze exists, because I feel like they have quite a few options that meet what I'm looking for. This time I got a kale Caesar with blackened Ahi tuna on it. The Ahi tuna was absolutely delicious. I found the kale Caesar had a bit too much sauce, it tasted extra cheesy to me, so I think this Caesar sauce which is homemade has quite a bit of cheese in it for those of you who may not be big cheese fans. What would have made this five stars is if it had less sauce, so next time I might ask for the dressing on the side so I can control putting it on myself. I appreciate that they text you when your order is ready so you can walk around, I was able to go back to my table and sit with the family until my order was ready. Some of the stalls do not open until 11 AM, but Graze opens before that, probably because they have breakfast options. If you're looking for a healthy place at Armature Works, I would highly recommend here.
